I will say that it does not compare to the flashes that come off of diamonds of equal size, but it really does "talk" to me all the time... I am still amazed how much fire this baby has...

What a fun time I''ve had reading through this thread and admiring all your firey photos! So, I tried to get a few shots of my own.

Disclaimer: the fire did not show up as great as it did in real life. I saw long flashes of colored light that didn''t translate to the images. Also, when resized, the already inferior quality was made worse. So, this is best I can do.

Having said that, here are some fire (albeit smaller scale) shots from my new EC!

I know, I just went through the whole thing a couple days ago, I hadn''t done that in a long time. Got all "fired up" again.

And yeah, glad my kids are grown and I can devote photo time to other things. (I''m not tellin on ya)

Here''s a neat one, the fire is actually showing up in the reflection on the table, not the diamond.
