Why thank you nerf!

Well, do you want the basic specs, or THE specs? Oh here, this is easier.

Here''s one I never posted.
Oh Ellen. That''s stunning!!!

I''m one of those ''vintagey'' ring people, but sometimes . . . simplicity is so . . . delicious! That setting is the perfect showcase for that fantastic stone!

Thanks Ellen!

But, be careful what you wish for... I spent nearly 2 hours taking fire shots!

BTW, your ring and setting is one of my PS favorites and your fire shots are what inspired me and I''m so happy that I finally was able to contribute my own to this thread.

I want to play but after a 1/2 hours and not alot of luck on getting the pretty colors I will post this. What kind of lighting do I need to be in???

Holly, thank you mam! My ring loves it when people say, we''re not normally a fan of your type, but....

<----I''m ready!

wen, ideally, in sunlight is best. It''s easiest to get flares, and the diamond doesn''t look bad either. You can sometimes get flares under some indoor lighting, but that also usually ends up wiith the yellow tint to everything. Just the nature of the beast. Try in front of a window where the sun is streaming in if it''s too cold to go outside.

Ellen your stone is absolutely stunning...
hopefully one day i will be able to get a fire piece hehe

Just a question....do the hearts and arrows or star - RB sparkle more? more brilliance? bc of the ideal shape or cut?
i am new to all the diamond talk - thanks

I LOVE this thread! It''s great that it''s in SMTR, it should be a sticky too! Maybe if the sun ever comes out again I''ll take some more pics.
