Would you mind telling me if that bluish-green one second from the top is a tourmaline? I've been looking around for something that color. Sort of the color of a wave when it breaks and the sun shines through it.

It’s a beryl. Doesn’t always look like that, just when the light hits it right.

Thank you! I‘m rather drawn to ballerina style rings with cabs and it was love at first sight when I saw this star sapphire ring. Here is one more photo that shows the beautiful blue better:The star sapphire is gorgeous! And I have a special place in my heart for ballerina style rings. Beautiful!
I am a recent giant ring convert.
That blue sapphire and that black (blue?) opal!!!! Omg!!!!
Hehe if I met you in real life, I'd ask you to stand across the room and wave at me so I can flourish in the joy of being able to see it from a distance. I am big on being able to see gems from a distance these days
All four are amazing - and a fabulous bracelet, too! The black star sapphire has a beautiful star, really nice clean lines. I hadn’t heard of a black star sapphire before, thanks for sharing.
Love love love @Catmom
