I laughed so hard at Kind of Know.....i think PS.....goes beyond Kinda of know, seeing as though we all are, have been in the same boat. Some just get off earlier than others. LoL....

Yep, you should bust out that old skirt and shoes and pratice. HaHa, a nice little side job.

Im sorry about the job, that sucks, its bad when you have to work a job thats below your intelligence level. Been there,done that. Hopefully soon you will find a job that is what you are looking for. Seems like the economy is affecting EVERYONE

Trained? I don''t know if you''d even have to train it. (at least to replace me)

I''m the records/filing/audit-prep/client-corresponding person here. With the computer systems out there I''m pretty sure ANYONE could do this job.

Of course the patience that is required in dealing with the people (bosses, clients, and others) is a skill that no monkey could EVER learn.

I think the moving in conversation is sparking some of this (initially I told him I didn''t want to move in with him unless we were going to be engaged within a year - and he was still okay moving in together before realizing I changed my mind about this!!!!), and his cousin''s upcoming wedding has sparked a lot more of it. But last night we talked about weddings (I told him I''d be like a lot of the FIs on here - very opinionated, but I won''t do a thing to help unless forced

) and engagement rings (the sweet boy doesn''t want me to have to downgrade my dream ring - luckily I realized recently that I just don''t think I''d be comfortable at this stage with a large ring, and that I want to feel comfortable traveling with it and not like I have to be super self-conscious about it - so around .75-.9 is perfect).

Wow. We have been having a lot of future talk lately, haven''t we? I realized the other day, though...that I''m at the point where if he asked, I''d say yes. I''d probably want a longer engagement.....but I''d say yes. I don''t actively want it yet, but I''m not scared of it anymore.

i had a drea that eric cheated on me with his cousin''s girlfriend (also a good friend, and on of my BM). so then i started shacking up with this guy from work (who is also named eric, and who is also tall and skinny) but it didn''t work out becuase 1) still distraught over not having my wedding
2) he already had a kid and said that he was 95% not going to (be able?) to have another one
but he was about to put down 4k for an engagement ring until his baby''s mama called it off.

WEIRD. oh. and plus we were in some backwater, flordia, remote honkytonk land.

Did you ever think that you are in the wrong job?

So quick update first:
Did the call with the IRS (took about 2 1/2 hours), tax prep guy saved the day, have the returns ready to mail, they dropped the garnishments until November. So absolutely nothing accomplished. Just have to do the call all over again in November.

Back to: Did you ever think you are in the wrong job?


Tax prep guy got a retainer for $1500.00 and just sent a bill for another $1000.00
The phone call alone was over $500 and most of the time we were just on hold.


On the up side, all of tax prep guy''s fees can all be used as a deduction on this year''s taxes.

Elle, what did the doctor say? Is it a migraine?

I get migraines, and this one doesnt feel like one... and she doesnt think it''s sinus, so she didnt want to give me antibiotics.

Neither of us are sure what it is, maybe its just tension? Whatever it is, it wont go away. I took the vicodin about 45 minutes ago and still not feeling anything so I have no idea.
