on a completely different note...has anyone ever paid for transcription/know anyone who does transcription (audio to text file?)...on short order? I have like 2 or 2 1/2 hours that I am in the middle of transcribing...

oh my puppy is the opposite she is always on her back wanting belly rubs.... its adorable.

TopoDazzle - your kitty is soooooo cute!!!! i love it when cats roll over like that! as far as transcribing goes, i helped my BF''s SIL do it for a one-time kind of deal and we both thought it was kind of a pain. i hope you get to finish soon!


i think i''m going to go to the pool! i think every girl needs a little R&R on their days off so why not? i''m not sure when the pool opens but i think it will be around 11-11:30. i''m thinking i''ll bring along a Sophie Kinsella book (i''m a sucker for ''chick-lit'' books) and sunbathe. i did compromise with myself so i made some breakfast, did the dishes, cleaned the kitchen, scooped the kitties'' litter boxes and threw a load of laundry in. i think i feel a little better about being productive.

Yeah, *total pain*. I did a craig''s list search for someone to do the rest for me. I can''t take it anymore, but some of the quotes were for $2.50/min!!! Can''t quite afford that.

Mine doesn''t. And he''s allergic. And I adopted 2 cats anyways.

But he''s not terribly allergic, which is the only way I was able to get away with it.

awww, that sucks...they make the awesome pets too! at first, BF wasn''t too crazy about the idea of getting just one either and then we ended up getting Felony''s sister too. i think it''s b/c he always had one growing up so he didn''t really mind it so much. is there a particular reason why he doesn''t want cats as pets?

Hello ladies! Hope you all had a great 4th weekend. Looks like there were quite a few engagement posts here!!!

I had a lovely time off. And this week I'm off Friday (my birthday!!!) so I've got another short week ahead of me. We saw Public Enemies. It was good but not as good as I thought it was going to be...

FF got a call yesterday about a job he had an interview with and you wont believe this but they told him that the hiring freeze has been put in place AGAIN on the position he had the interview for!

That is partly ok though because he didn't want that job. However, he is waiting to hear from the other job he had an interview with last week. He was told he would hear yesterday or today. Well he didn't hear yesterday so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!!!

The babies are cute....i love kitties, and doggies, and birdies, and ummm, ALL ANIMALS....lol...

....sorry little panic attack! LoL....but seriously, i love all animals, thats why, i have two cats, and C has 2 dogs, which i have pics of that i need to post, and a turtle he named speedi! She is getting big, she is in a 60 gallon tank now. She is like the size of a desert plate....she started out the size of a quater! Also, one of our doggies, Keno, has a heart condition and its getting worse

...we are actually taking him to the vet on friday because he cant run or walk for more than a few minutes and he starts coughing and trying to catch his breath. Than he gets so tired he has to go take a nap. Im so worried his little heart is gonna give out. Its bad enough he has seizures and we give him meds for that

...now to add on heart pills

Ckrickett, glad to hear your interview went well! BF doesn''t like cats either - he''s not quite the animal person I am (he''s a dog person, but he really only likes pugs and golden retrievers, lol). But a year''s worth of research and talking about it has worn him down....we agreed to get a kitten this fall, and now we''re getting two! And he''s been actually really supportive and way more excited than I thought he would be.

Jcarly, yay!!! What kind? Or will you adopt from a shelter?

Update on the mosquitoes: woke up this morning at 2:30 because BF got up (he couldn''t sleep). Woke up again at 2:45 because BF broke his third glass in the last week. Realized that I was itchy...I had another mosquito bite on my arm, and one on my FACE!!!!

And I left my hydrocortisone at the office. Sob.

Aww poor Keno. I''ll send dust his way. Our family dog, Cocoa, is 13 (he''s a Chihuahua) and has a heart murmur. Also a bad cough. Poor doggies....

Thanks so much, im super worried....he was my bf''s moms dog, but when she passes we had to take him. Now, im momma to him, and we are close, he usually is touching me, so seeing him cough kills me. Also, im sorry about the bites, i was bitten by something on Saturday, i dont know what it was, but it doesnt itch, it hurts a bit though. But i lived in Tucson, Az and every summer during Monsoon seaon i was covered from head to toes in bites so i can relate.

Brown.Eyed.Girl - ugh, boo for mosquitoes and boo for not having any hydrocortisone! we must have some sweet blood or something because i get eaten alive if i don''t put any bug spray on. i got 6 bites over 4th of July weekend when we went and watched fireworks. i got one above each butt cheek...probably from when my shirt lifted up when i was sitting. it looks like i have eyes on my behind...

btw, how''s your kitty search doing?

general question for you ladies: what SPF sunscreen do you use? i''m so un-evenly tanned that i use multiple levels in an attempt to even out. i generally use 30 for my face and arms since they''re exposed to the sun the most. my legs haven''t seen the sun for a LOOOONG time so i''m thinking of using a 10 so they''ll catch up to the rest of my body.

even though im African American(well more mixed than anything)- i burn BADLY! So i use SPF 70...I get sun burnt so bad, i peel, turn red, everything(haha, and i blush deep red). Actually i cant be in the heat too long or my skin so tight i get sick.....me and the bf( hes white), actually he cant do the sun at all because he had skin cancer. So if im in the sun its SPF70.....

i use sPF15-30 everwhere, and 75 on my face and shoulders/chest if i am going to be exposed to the sun for long time. i burn VERY quickly, and no tan will result

i do freckle though. after the first week in the BVI i was a freckle mania face. i love it

Cute names!! Hehe! I don''t remember how we came up with them...I think we were joking that they needed middle names and FI suggested Franklin, which suggests wayyyyy more intelligence than he actually has

so we made his first name sound smarter. LOL! Then of course Troopy couldn''t be left out.
