Yeah, training for the new job has been nuts. On the plus side, it looks like I''m actually going to really enjoy what I''m doing. Plus I''m on the social committee, and things have been nuts with that, too. My new team is awesome, though. I''m really happy.

I still haven''t figured out my sweater. I''ll post pics when I get a minute. Things are a little busy today.

Took my assessment tests yesterday so I could register for classes. Good news & not as good news.


Scoring is out of 100

writing: 99
reading:98
algebra: 66
college algebra: 20


I''m a bit rusty on the math. That is fine. It placed me in the class I wanted to take anyway.

Only down side is that it leaves me not meeting a prerequisite for the computer programming class I wanted this quarter. I''ve got a request in with the program chair to see if she''ll give me an entry code to over-ride the requirement.

Gah! I was just about to jump on one of the burberry umbrellas over at gilt and I had it in my cart and everything. Then Kris called and made me feel really guilty about spending that much on an umbrella. So now there is no umbrella and I am really really bummed about it.

I feel like I shouldn''t be mad at him, but I kind of am. He then tried to be all "oh, no, you can get it!" but it just wasn''t the same. Now if I got it I would just feel bad about it, whereas before I was really excited.

I''m of the belief that occasionally there are things that are way overpriced, but we love them so much it''s worth it. I had a Coach umbrella for 4 years that made me SO happy. Everytime it rained I smiled because I got to use it. My new umbrella is cheerful, but it''s not the same.
