It must be going around. My best friend in the office turned in her notice and her last day is next Tuesday.

It''s so much better for her, and I''m really thrilled for her, but it''s so much worse for me.

It''s so much better for her, and I''m really thrilled for her, but it''s so much worse for me.

The last job I left, when I told my best bud there, she was actually mad at me for leaving.

She said "I hope you know that my being mad is simply indicative of me not wanting you to leave" It was her non-sappy way of telling me she was going to miss me.

Now, one of the attorneys who works by me (First year) ... really sweet girl, just left because her grandma is dying. She was in tears walking out. I gave her a hug, but didn''t know what to say.

Actually I''m a law student, just working for the summer. I do a lot of research for people who are too busy to it themselves, and sometimes I get to go to court!

sunnyd! Another TO gal. Sadly I didn''t see any concerts of his interest.. but I did go by the FOSSIL store just now =P Found some nice watches for ~$120-150, but my friend is saying how a good watch may be a little deep on the pockets, but worth it in the long run. Tissot: $195. Good idea?


BTW, elle I love the dress! I''m not usually a fan of the polky dots, but that dress looks sha-arp!

That''s sad! When we had our ''voluntary layoff'' we had an older Admin. woman leave. She was here for a very long time, we were sad to see her go.

I don''t like the built in bras. I use fabric tape, which works...but only if you don''t need support.

Yeah, the corset back on mine pushed them up anyway. They were not going ANYWHERE.

On Equestrienne''s suggestion via Facebook... FI and I are going to see the DSO (Detroit Symphony Orchestra) at a state park near us. It''s a free concert, and we can just take a blanket, lay out on the grass, and enjoy the music.

We will go out to eat somewhere tonight as we usually do. I also got Bride Wars from the Library that I need to watch with FF

Maybe we might do that today. But I was hooked last night on watching Michael Jackson videos on BET. That''s all they were playing! So if they are still playing those, I might watch some of that again. Sure does take me back!

Oh! I almost forgot to mention with all the past drama....
So he had his interview on Tuesday. It went well but he wasn''t comfortable there. Long story but it''s in an office working with probation officers.

But luckily he got a call 2 days ago for another interview THIS coming Tuesday and he is much more interested in that job. So I hope it goes well for him. These are the only 2 interviews he''s landed thus far.

You all gotta stop talking about Sims3. It''s making me want it so bad. But I just don''t have the time anymore to play Sims2. OHHHHH how I love that game so.....I''ve got so many families and their gorgeous mansions. I miss them. I should visit them this weekend

If your man is a watch guy I think it''s a great investment! I would love to buy FI a really nice watch (think: Omega) but he''s not that interested. So far I''ve bought him two Fossil watches. You could also look at ESQ watches. Check The Bay..watches are always on sale there!
