So I''m thinking about starting a blog focused on cooking. Any suggestions for a name?
Do you have a cooking theme or is it anything and everything?

It will be anything and everything but based around cooking and baking.

How about Chub Rub?

(Fingers crossed!!!)

Hawk''s Oven

In other news, I''m skipping out on the gym tonight. I just don''t have the energy. I was suppose to go to yoga this morning at 11, but stupid boy and stupid pre-wedding-planning screwed that over since I was too upset to go. Now I''m just wiped.

FYI, warm Airborne tastes like feet.

Anything special about your cooking personality? That might help.

I''m also a fan of foodblogs named after ingredients or kitchen tools: Whisk, Orangette, etc.

Working the corner again?

snort

Again with the making me laugh while trying not to wake up DH!

Don''t make me slap you silly C-Tek!

I''m thinking of the following for a title "Tales of a Dysfunctional Glutard" or "Confessions of a Dysfunctional Glutard" because I have celiac disease and have a really hard time staying on a gluten free diet. So most of the recipes on the blog would be GF or I would be talking about how I fell off the wagon (yet again).

Dinner last night and blog entry numero uno was cowboy steak with cannelini bean and artichoke ragu. It was YUMMY!

Good morning y''all!

6 inches of snow last night and Ann Arbor barely did anything about it. Took me 30 minutes to get to work when it should take less than 10! Gah!

Oooooh... that looks delicious, HH!

TP-I saw your post on the bridal bootcamp thread with your tofu recipe. It looks really good. I''ve never been a fan of any kind of soy other than edemame, so the idea of tofu and the texture is a huge challenge for me. But I know it''s really good for you so....

How''s your working out going?

Morning, ladies!!!

Morning, VC!

Yeah I am glad it snowed, but it would have been nice if they had at least plowed some of the 6 inches of it.

Ooooo...I''ll have to go check out TP''s recipe...I LOVE tofu.

HH, we make a tofu stirfry probably 2-3 times a month with a ton of veggies and Soyaki Sauce from TJ''s...but I''m not sure it''s GF. If it is, I''d totally try it...it makes the tofu taste really good!

For me it''s not so much the flavor, I know it takes on the taste of whatever you marinate it in, it''s the texture that I can''t get past.

For that, try deep-frying it. You totally lose the health aspect of it, but it''s a nice bridge to the texture once you just sautee it.

Also, if you want to go for the nutritional benefits, you can use the silken/soft tofus to make smoothies and creamy-textured soups.

Morning B!

Nude for me today!

Oh, and update from yesterday''s mini-breakdown...

After spending a lot of time searching for churches in KC that will marry non-members, I''m finding with increasing frequency that they don''t allow photography during the ceremony or only from the pro photog at the back of the sanctuary. To me, the pictures are the most important thing (aside from actually getting married, lol) and I REFUSE to have those limitations on my day. So. I talked to A about it. And he agrees with me that those limitations are ridiculous. So. I think we''re going to start looking for unique indoor venues with an older/architectural feel for the ceremony so that it has a sanctuary type feel to it, but with no photography restrictions.

**big sigh of relief**

Thanks again for all the laughs and stuff yesterday, it really helped a ton!

Ohhh I''m so glad that worked out, VC! Funny that the church and their strict rules actually deters people from marrying there. They should look into that!
