He DID have it for a year, but thats because it was heirloom and my mom gave it to us when she came to visit. We were not ready to get engaged yet, since I still had to finish school. I *knew* it would be another year!

Not at all!!! I only get full from salads when they have a protein on them, as well as other delicious goodies mixed in.

Yummy!!!!! My new favorite addition is endamame. Endamame, grilled chix or salmon, broccoli, cucumbers and carrots.

Yummy!!! I'm not excited about my lunch today. I've been avoiding it for 2 days in the fridge and going out instead. LOL!

I am a chronic lunch hoarder. I have about 15 lean cuisines/healthy choices/smart ones in the freezer, and always find some reason to get something else. We have a sushi place about 2 minutes from work, which is very dangerous for me.

I love salads, but they''ve got to be done right or I don''t get full (or stay full).

Made a salad yesterday with: mixed baby greens, tomatoes, jicima, cucumber, green olives, chick peas, and fresh basil & red wine vinigarette.

That was pretty good. For a MEAL salad, I like to toss in additional protein (toasted pecans, additional beans, a bit of chicken, etc.) and veggies.
