Am I the only weirdo who can''t be full after a salad? I don''t know how people can eat a salad for lunch!!
I don''t get full eating period. Bottomless pit.
Same! My hunger is insatiable!

Oh this wasn''t just a salad. It was spring mix, a little cheese, peas, corn, mushroom, tomato, cucumber, a little ranch dressing, and grilled chicken breast.

Yummy!!! I''m not excited about my lunch today. I''ve been avoiding it for 2 days in the fridge and going out instead. LOL!
I am a chronic lunch hoarder. I have about 15 lean cuisines/healthy choices/smart ones in the freezer, and always find some reason to get something else. We have a sushi place about 2 minutes from work, which is very dangerous for me.
11.gif
Haha...I''ve been known to do the same from time to time...

I'm excited. New recipe in the crock pot for dinner! Cuban Flank Steak.
18.gif
Hopefully it's as yummy as it sounds!!!

The crock pot is my favorite thing ever right now. Throw shit in the morning, have delicious dinner ready upon returning home. What could be better??? Aside from a personal chef, of course!
I LOVE crock pot, but ours broke when we moved!!!!

Time to run out of the office for a client meeting, so I hope you ladies enjoy the rest of your day!

TP, are you on any meds?
Tried different things for 6 or 7 years. Only a couple had the slightest affect and they quit working after 6 months or so.

I use a nettie pot regularly and that has helped more than any of the meds I tried.
That and lots of vacuuming/dusting/washing usually keeps them pretty okay.

vc -holla!!! thats exciting!!!! any particular style in mind?

morning everyone!!

I know I want a 3-stone. My dream ring is from the Nelson Calla Cut line. Round brilliant center, with 2 calla cuts on the sides and 2 surprise Calla Cuts in the basket. (see pic)

Second fave is a round brilliant center with Sapphire trillion cut sidestones in white metal or Emerald trillion cut sidestones in yellow metal.

Regardless, I''m getting a Calla Cut wedding band, lol.

VC, my SIL has a CC ering and wband, they''re really beautiful!

Sunny, have you tried quinoa salads? Still uber healthy but high in protein & fiber. Nom!

Gaffer (our sick kitty) is still sleeping but I have to wake him up soon to take him to the vet and then my interview is at 1. It''s for a relatively high level admin asst position for a management/executive career coaching firm. I''m all done up in a suit and whatnot--I think I look a little stuffy but hopefully it will translate as professional.

I had to hold back tears when I tried on the e-ring at Quest, lol. I still haven''t seen the wbands in person, but the one I have my eye on is uber sparklyyyyy!

I know this is a late post, but TJ had better get me a push present. I have my eye on a little stacking band with diamonds and saphs September is the sapphire birth month, so I figure blue for a boy and pink for a girl. He already knows this is part of his duty!

Perfect push present, HH!
36.gif
That''ll be beautiful!

They have some nice sapphire eternity bands at facets that are pretty reasonable...I''ve thought about getting a blue one just because!

I''m hungry. (it''s only 10:00)

I had breakfast a couple of hours ago but it isn''t staying with me. Fruit smoothie was good but I didn''t have anything with it and am regretting it now.

Fruit smoothie: just concord grape juice, just black cherry juice, banana, strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, & mango.

TP you really need some fat and protein in that smoothie if you want it to keep you full. Try some yogurt in it next time.

That is so sweet. Great idea.

We will need pictures.....
Of the sparklies & the baby.

I had a bagel this morning which should keep me full until the afternoon. I''ll have some salad for lunch and then we''re having falafels & pita for dinner.

Yeah. I knew I messed up when I did it. I've been eating a piece of toast with cheese to go with it (sounds crazy, but it is yummy) but ran out of time this morning.

How would Silken tofu go in a smoothie? (thinking back to the discussion of chocolate pies) I'd like to add the protein without doing dairy. (dairy leaves me sick)

ETA: I know toast with cheese is dairy -- it makes me sick but it is so yummy.

DH and I were watching the show Chopped on the Food Network -- where they give them random ingredients and have them make an app, entree or dessert? -- and one of the ingredients the other night was silken tofu. I was like, "He needs to make a PIE!!!"

I''m sure the silken tofu would be perfect! It blends right down into creaminess, and since tofu has no flavor, all you''ll taste is the fruit!

HAHAHA. A HATES Chopped with a passion. He thinks it doesn''t let anyone really show their stuff because of the time constraints. I was like, "that''s part of the fun!!!"

One of the best foods ever.

Definition: Falafel is a deep fried ball or patty that is made from chick peas or fava beans and spices. It is a vegetarian food, and is considered to be a fast food, often offered by street vendors.
Falafel is served with many types of sauces, including tahini or a falafel hot sauce. It can be served alone, or as in a falafel pita sandwich.
