It''s a Sheldonism from The Big Bang Theory. If you don''t watch the show then something fundamental is missing from your life.

OK PNW girls, where all did you dress shop? I''ve got my first dress shopping trip planned for 3/28. I want to spend under 1k (preferably WAY under) and I don''t want to have to beat down any pushy sales ladies. Since I''m considering a few different bridesmaid dresses I''m planning on going to Mom''s, Maid''s & More in Belluve as they have gotten great reviews. I want to go somewhere that has regular wedding dresses too but every place has such terrible reviews I''m afraid I''d end up in jail. I don''t tolerate mistreatment very well. Oh and I''m taking my FMIL so I have to behave.

Princess Bride in Bothell is where I got my dress. I don''t remember the brands they carry besides Pronovias, but they list them on the site. They also keep 2 racks of sale samples.Date: 2/10/2010 12:15:03 PM

Demetrios was awful!! We also went there for BM dresses and she just wanted soooooo desperately to sell me something. It was gross.Date: 2/10/2010 12:26:12 PM

ah, here we go!
Amanda''s Bridal Boutique
Redmond, WA 98052
La Belle Reve in bellevue
I do not suggest Demiteros, on personal choice. I felt like i was being sold a car. Plus they took a Bm''s measurements with her sweatshirt on.

JCar/Sunny - Awesome thanks you guys!
Sunny - Was the princess place in Bothell as scary as the reviews say?
LP - Oh so did you want me to come down to Portland? It''s just that you''re being a little wishy/washy. Kidding if I don''t find anything in round one I will use a personal day and come down on a Friday morning and we can shop til we drop!
Honestly, I was not a fan. I bought my dress at the wedding show, there was some stupid confusion over the free veil I was supposed to get...meh. But my friend who ordered a dress through them has had no problems at all, she loves them!Date: 2/10/2010 12:34:48 PM

The reviews are scary, but you have to remember that in customer service, someone who experiences horrible services will tell 10 people about it, and someone who had great service will tell 1. So it''s always skewed.
I just always feel like I''m...left to my own devices as a BM, lol.Date: 2/10/2010 12:45:40 PM

I happened to have a great experience with it as a bride. HORRIBLE experience as a BM. all within 2 months!
I know right? I was like "that''s the one" the second I saw it. It''s pretty but it''s got some sass to it just like the McNoodle.Date: 2/10/2010 1:13:42 PM

I love that it makes her still look like a little girl, instead of some of these Flower Girl dresses that are strapless and have TRAINS and all this other crap.
Agreed.Date: 2/10/2010 1:19:24 PM

I''m not having a ring bearer. I don''t even know if I''m going to have mini do petals. I might just have her carry a little bouquet. We''re hoping most of our friends leave their kids at home but even if they all bring them there will only be about 5 or 6.Date: 2/10/2010 1:23:41 PM

I''m not having little ones in the wedding party (A''s cousins have too many kids to even start to pick from...) and I didn''t want any at the wedding in the first place, but they mean so much to A and were so well behaved at Thanksgiving that I can''t say no. But if I *DID* have a flower girl...that would pretty much be the dress I''d pick. It''s just perfect! With little ballet flats (HEAVEN FORBID YOU GIVE THE CHILD HEELS, lest she become a hooker later in life)!
