LP...your Bridal Shower stuff caught my eye. This is the same problem my officemate had. Family, etc. are all back in Michigan. We''re in DC. She has friends here...that wouldn''t travel to MI for a shower...and she has family and family friends there that wouldn''t come out here and might not even be able to make the wedding in Rhode Island.

Her mom decided to throw her one back in Michigan, but it''s mostly going to be her family and her mom''s friends, so it''ll be the fluffy, pink, toilet paper dresses and finger foods type deal. That''s why I threw the lingerie shower. I knew she had a small group of friends out here that she wanted to celebrate with, all of whom were so excited to be able to have the opportunity to celebrate her pending nuptuals by buying her frilly lacey silky things for her honeymoon. It sounds like the perfect solution, at least for your set of girls, because lingerie showers work better when they''re small, intimate (no pun intended), and your closest friends. Just a thought.

I think what everyone needs is big lattes with chunky, chocolaty brownies -- all with no calories of course

24 pound cat (Sven) bit my forehead last night -- hard enough to make me bleed.

He looked so guilty and shocked at what he did. It was so cute.

It''s just gotten to the point where I just feel physically sick when I have to come to or am in the office.

Obviously, it''s psychological and I need help lol!

The job market is so bad though, that it''s just freakin scary to leave!

Is there any way you can look for a different place to work and have it lined up before leaving?

Are there classes or certifications etc. that would be helpful to get into a job you like better?

Knowing that I''m not stuck here forever helps. I''m taking classes and can look forward to getting out of here. Feels less permanent. (I still don''t like it -- but it helps)
