I''m back. I think it went ok, I was a little shy and answered some questions like a douche but I definatly have the skills they are after. Fingers crossed, it sounds like a really cool job and I want it SO BAD!

I didn''t end up looking at shoes, I have shoe guilt: I have a loyalty card with my favourate shoe shop and at the end of a season the send you vouchers for discounts and free stuff depending on how much you spent last season....and I have some pretty good vouchers because I was about 1/2 a pair away from spending 1k on shoes!

This is the only one I have, it makes my giant hips look smaller, but apparently that means wearing it granny-style.

actually, high waisted skirts can look good on those with pooch (i have one too). Try for the wide waisted bands and small amount of pleating, and bright patterns.
oh, and it has to be a short one, not longer than knee length.

i used to wear one all the time that was perfect and hid my pooch

Dress pants are never cut right for me. Ever. Denim has enough give that it ends up looking okay.

Jcar...I''ll have to seek out said high-waisted skirt. I have yet to find one that looked good, but I have also yet to try one on having the silhouette described...

I'm ok with walking, but that always happens to me when I'm sitting. I feel like I'm always standing up and pulling my skirt down! Even with ones that aren't particularly high waisted.

DH pretty much only has cargo shorts. Most of them were 10 years old, but at least he has some newer nicer ones now. I can''t wait til he gets home so I can see if he shorted-up or not.

I always wanted a pair of those dress shorts! It''s hard to find pants that are the right length, but knee length shorts would be perfect. I''ll have to buy some this season.

I got mine at Old Navy and LOVE them. They''re just wide enough: they''re tailored wider than a slim fit without being wide enough to look like a skirt.

My parents have decided to put their dog down next week before they go to Cancun.

He can''t really do much and he''s not going to get better so they''d rather say goodbye now than risk having SIL (who was going to watch him) have to deal with anything that happens.

My mom is looking at cavochons for the summer now.
