Jessie: lunch was good. We went to her house and played wii. She's my best friend. She saw my ring and was like "omg.. that's big, it doesn't look that big online." Then she snapped some close-up picture of my ring. She was going back to HK when I'm in Hawaii. However, she's staying for quite awhile. She wants to live here and find a job. I really hope she can stay so that she can be my MOH. HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I'm sure you'll have a VERY VERY busy weekend. Hope I get to hear your good news before I leave for Hawaii.

Cali: OMG!!! OF COURSE IT IS THE RIGHT DIAMOND!!! why would you think that? You were playing with your ring? Are you wearing it now? My ring is fine. I'm just picky. I know if I didn't scratch it this time, I'll probably scratch it sometime down the road. You would be scared if there is no scratches on it for as long as I live. It's not bad at all. I can only see it with the magifying glass. You have to know where to look. My parents can't see it. At least, I know I'll be more careful with it. When I order my wedding band, I'll have them polish it or something. By that time, the ring will probably have more scratches on it. I have to accept the fact that if I want it to be BRAND NEW, I have to lock it up. No matter how careful I am, there will still be scratches.

We played Bloom Blox (I love that game) and Bomberman. SO FUN! Bump on the finger is better. Thanks for asking. It doesn't hurt when I pushed it, but the bump is still there. It will go away... I hope. I'm not going to worry about it too much. The more I worry about it, the slower it will go away. Any plans for tonight? My FI is coming over. We'll hang out. I haven't seen him all week! I should sing you a happy birthday song first...

Nope, no plans for tonight, just hanging out, and than going to his house. Tommorow though, im taking my car to get washed for free at a place thats does a GREAT job. Than Lunch with my mom( even though i really dont want to) SO should be off by than, and he wants to go get things for sunday, and than after that, the night is in his hands. No idea....

Nervous and excited huh? That's a good sign.

I'm looking forward to spending quality time with my FI. 1 whole week with him, and just him. How romantic is that? I'm so glad we get to go as an engaged couple. August 24 will be our 6 years and 1 month anniversary. We gonna spend it there. YEAH! I'm also looking forward to snorkeling. I've never tried that before. You? Oh, I want to wear my new bikini! and... SHOPPING!!!! heehee. Lots of stuff I'm excited about. It's the first time we go on a plane together. I'm excited about that too!!!

LoL...i havent seen SATC2 yet...

O, i know the first flight feeling, i got that our first flight, too. Our first was to Florida, a 8 hour flight and our First long trip together. I totally understand. I havent been snorkling either, i so want ot know all about it. It must be so nice to go as an engaged couple. HaHa, the nice part is you get a logn flight to get a lot of reading done. Youll se ehow he is when he travels too, flight are different from driving trips.

I'm waiting for my FI to come over. I was just reading the friendster message he wrote me when he proposed. It makes me tear up everytime.

You should SOOOO watch SATC2. I love it! We've been to lots of trips. He always drives for those road trips. I'm glad I get to hold his hands during the flight. Wait.. I'll be too busy reading my bride's instruction book.

FI just called. He's coming over. I asked if he told his parents yet. He was going to tell them tonight. He said no 'cuz he got home late. He said he will tomorrow or Sunday. We'll see...

Jessie: I've been thinking about you ALL weekend!!!!!

Too: we're leaving at 6:45pm. My FI worked ALL weekend. He's working this morning too. HARDCORE! I think I'm getting sick. I have a sore throat for 2 days. I thought I had a running nose this morning, but not anymore. Now, I'm sitting here, trying to "feel" if I'm sick.... nope.. my throat is just a little bitter. Maybe it's all in my head. I have been taking cold/flu med and vitamin C, JUST IN CASE! I'm sure I'll feel ALL BETTER when I'm in HAWAII!!!

My mom's computer is better. She needed a new DVD drive. Took a lot longer to fix than we expected but it was a nice visit.

I KNOW! I can't be sick! I'm going to buy some Tylenol cold day later. I think I finished packing. 7 days. That's a long time. I don't think my FI started packing yet. Well, guys are easy. Girls we have makeup and stuff.

No ring here, but did get earrings...SO did confessed he had been looking at rings, but didnt find any he liked, so i guess thats good.

Ehhh.
Not awful weekend.

We didn't get the lights in the office or guest room (didn't even get started really). Friday we fixed my mom's computer then had dinner. Saturday was Shabbat so we pretty much sat around reading and eating. We didn't go to our group dinner this week (Friday night a bunch of us get together in someone's house and do a potluck type thing) because I was exhausted and crampy. Sunday we was okay. Late breakfast. Couple of hours at the range. I got my new scope sighted in so that was good.

O, that sounds like a relaxing weekend. I like weekends like that, im hoping to have one like that next weekend, i dont even want to go anywhere.

BBQ- was good, our friends brought over turkey burgers and hot dogs and we bought chips and fruit. I didnt have to do any cooking for once, was nice. They surpised me with a chocolate cake with white chocolate on top. Was yummy, i was so tired between swimming and the sanagria i made i feel asleep faster than a baby.

Yeah, ive sent him plenty of pictures. He sould have some idea, that im just going to trust him. I was trying to firgure out when he could go look and i guess it must have been before he went to work, or on his lunch break. At least i know hes looking.

Ill post osme pictures of the earrings in a bit, gotta edit them down to size.

Yeah.... packing sucks.
What sucks worse is looking at 1/2 the boxes of stuff you just "had" to keep and spent hours packing, stacking, lifting, hauling.... just sitting unopened over 2 years later.

Well, no coughing. no running nose. (at least not yet... ) My throat is sensitive. Everytime I eat/drink cold stuff, I'll cough. If I don't wear a scarf when it's cold out, I'll cough. What's happening in 8 days?

I was thinking about possible wedding date. I want it to be Aug 14, 2011 because my FI proposed on Aug 14. However, my parents said that is not a good day according to the Chinese lunar calendar. We don't believe in stuff like that. However, my dad is like "we're chinese.. of course we need to pick a GOOD DATE. It's for your own good." *sigh*

BG -- Aug 14 sounds nice (and really sweet) -- great time for a rose garden wedding....
did your parents suggest another date that they like?


Yeah... I'm okay.
Just rather depressed right now. I finished our budget for the year and what we make minus bills leaves about $6,000 for the year to go for groceries and unexpected expenses. My spreadsheet didn't even take into account the $2500 membership fee at the synagogue we need to pay.
In 8 days FI gets a stock distribution & (maybe) a bonus. Out of that,we've already got $2200 already committed to shipping parts and the $2000 for the attorney who did some work for us. I also need about $2,000 in dental work (non-optional, do it now or permanent damage sort of thing ) Plus we need to get Sentra's teeth cleaned & the cats (Sven & Lilly) need a check up with the vet.
So in 8 days (unless he gets told sooner) we find out how much we have for the wedding (if anything).
