hello hello everyone!
how was the weekend?
We went camping...without a reserved site! We had to dredge through 3 hours of complete stop and go traffic (accident on the mountain), and then try 4 different camp sites, almost lost our friends (no cell service). Thought we had a site until someone came up with a reserved sticker...
but finally found a non pay site at 11 pm, and did not leave until monday at 6am (home by 8am!). I am uber freckle-y and blonde right now.
and sooo ready to go back to sleep.

how is everyone else?

Jcar: Sounds like you had a good time! I''m jealous!

My weekend was pretty ok. Friday was the Gomez concert which was fun. Saturday we built our "cat lawn" on the balcony. Sunday... we had a birthday dinner with some friends, and Monday we went to a bbq.

All in all it was pretty awesome weekend. It went too fast though.

Next thing to look forward to is FF''s 30th!

I will take pictures on their first day in the grass. I can''t wait, I''m so excited for them!

I will be very upset if they don''t like it. LOL. Cats always seem to hate anything you go out of your way to do for them.

I would be so excited! Ahhh! 2 weeks is like the "So close yet so far" time and it would drive me crazy!

seriously, it would. that and top ramen/cup of noodle.

sadly, if i worked closer to a grocery store, or a real restaurant with real food dieting wouldn''t be much of a problem. the closest i have to me right now is a gas station, a burger king and our own food. bleh.

i really should start packing a lunch.

So, I decided I need to seriously get my finances in order. It''s no fun, but I think I need to just scale back and really work on not spending anything I don''t absolutely have to spend.

Also, BF decided last night to see if I can get time off to go see his parents. Yeah, I''m excited to do it, but I try to only "spend" my time off as I earn it, and I''m cutting it really close right now. Especially since I probably have to have a few days saved up in December for a wedding. Argh. But if we go to visit his parents we get to see a bunch of our friends and I get a break. So that''d be nice. Plus I just miss it up there. I just hate doing this stuff on short notice. I like PLANS. Long term, solid plans. After this, no vacations until August. I mean it!

We just got back camping, and E asked when we can do it again. um. hello? we're going on vacation in two weeks, for 2 1/2 weeks. please dont act surprised when i say "i can't take off time!!"

That is exciting, but I''m trying not to get all worked up about it. When I get too excited about 4 day weeks, they end up going by slower.

I have next Friday (the 5th) off also. So I have two 4-day weeks in a row.
