Morning ladies. FF and I had a stupid fight this morning, ugh.
All resolved? Anything interesting?
Nothing interesting, just stupid. He can be such a butthead. He just gets too defensive sometimes over nothing!!

Aud - sorry to hear

. hopefully its resolved?
Eh, we both had to get to work, so it was just kind of left, it was nothing worth fighting about so by 5pm today when we get home it''ll be forgotten.

I just realized I still have a Valentine''s Day avatar...wow am I behind. I''ll need to work on remedying that.

and here i was thinking you just really liked cupcakes :)

morning

My pup has a bite on her tummy. It has a ring around it, and I''m thinking it could be a tick bite. The only thing is, although we did find a tick on her, it hadn''t attached itself yet. We check her all the time, so I''m wondering when that little bugger attached itself to my baby!
11.gif

I''m going to take her to the vet. Anyone know what I can expect?

Awww, poor baby!
39.gif

I''m not sure what to expect, unfortunately.

I hope all goes well, though!

bia - i am sure she will be fine! The vet might give her medication. When we got back from camping i found (i think) a tick in our gear, so i had to give bowser the triple over just to double check. i didn''t see anything, but the spray for the furniture and carpet came out anyways.

I''m sure she''ll be fine, just brush her over and check carefully to make sure you don''t miss anything. I don''t know that there''s much the vet can/will do other than check her over and maybe give her some meds. Maybe just call your vet first and ask what to do? May save you a trip and some money.

Haha, I wish I had a good picture of my kitty Darwin. I''ll have to work on that. I went in to buy him food yesterday (he was getting low) and FF and I discovered we have a senior citizen on our hands! He is no longer the appropriate age for adult food, he''s 7 1/2 and qualifies for senior food full of dental care and weight management!

Hi DG!
35.gif

So I haven''t told you all about a fun little thing I did this weekend:

There was a wedding attire display at our local I don''t know what you call it....visitor center/museum thing (lol) that FF and I went to. We saw several wedding gowns dated from the late 1800s up to 1970. We were a little disappointed that there wasn''t anything more current to see, but it was free so I can''t complain. They had a few tuxes and then shoes, veils, the works in some cases too. It was fun looking and he was pretty interested. Well....they had in the back corner some stuff to try on if you wanted to. Not sure what was all there but here comes S with this veil and he puts it on my head. There was a mirror there and I looked and I started cracking up and suddenly feeling very warm!
6.gif
3.gif
Never in my life have I tried on a veil before. I didn''t like this one but there was one more that he helped me put on and OH, did I love this other one.
31.gif
It was rather hilarious because I was wearing a cream color top so I couldn''t help but feel like a bride!
2.gif
Too bad we didn''t have the camera with us because I would have had him take a photo. I didn''t want to take that veil off for nothing. lol

I thought it was fun and I had a great time.

Aww, that sounds like fun! Wish you could have gotten a picture!

I know. I''d go back but it wouldn''t be the same trying that veil on a second time just for a photo. lol! Next time perhaps it will be because I''m trying a veil on to purchase

dream - that trip sounds like fun! how nice to get a "warm" feeling too, eh?

Aud 0 i think i just over worked it while camping. A lot of rough terrian. I was being careful, but still. also, i have been working out for a few weeks. My foot feels fat in my shoe
7.gif

i think i might have just twisted it, but it hurts a bit more than normal right now

Yeah, what was with the ''warm'' feeling? It was weird. I told him too...I was like "ooh....suddenly I feel really warm" and I also felt like my face was red. HA! We were the only ones in the room..

Oh NO jcar! Rest it for a while and see if it feels better. Should you ice it?

oh regarding E being gone - this isnt the first time. the joys of working for DOT
20.gif

but its good overtime

Oh, and on a more serious note: We should find out today about S''s other grandma who now has kidney cancer if they got it all out or not. She''s going to find out today. The surgery last week was successful and she''s home now. Keeping our fingers crossed.

As far as the grandma in Minnesota, there really isn''t any change with her.

best wishes and lots of dust! at least her first surgery went well, so hopefully its smooth sailing from there.
The grandma is MN - is she at least doing (somewhat) okay?

good afternoon

Dream-i hope his grandmas both start doing and feeling better and that the results showed no cancer. glad you and S had fun with the bridal exhibit, it''s adorable that he put a veil on you

jcar-sorry to hear your foot is being mean to you, but it sounds like you had a fun weekend to earn the pain with. well more fun than stepping in a hole, twisting your ankle and falling down the mountain at least
5.gif

B- hope you''re over your strep and have your voice back too. maybe they''ll lose their voices once you have yours back and you can make fun of them! and i hope that your doggie''s ok

starsparkle- it''s your last week!!! you''re almost done and back home!
36.gif

LP-have a good, safe trip, and dust for a sparkly present to welcome you home with

aud- sorry you two had a stupid fight, hope he''s gotten over it and if not that you have numerous pillows to throw at him.

today it wasn''t moldy grapes, it was moldy blackberries. yuck. threw away at least 70 packages. however the mold was kinda cool, it was pure white and fluffy, almost looked like snow. definitely least disgusting mold i''ve seen in awhile
