Hmmm...unfortunately, no freakin'' patio either! I tried growing miniature roses inside, and that was a bloody disaster...bwahahaha!

Mara, I LOVE this one. Peeking out like that. So coy. So flirtatious. And of course -- very orange, one of my all-time fave flower colors!

a few super soft pinks...

this one is fun because this rose has some vegetative growth in the center keeping the picture from being SOOOOOOO perfect it would be sickening. hehee.

deviated from the flower shots for 5 minutes to take this one...i love how the prongs cup the head here!! i never get this of this...that is for sure.

and the creme de la creme...this beauty which has to go in my most favorite pictures EVER of diamonds...the lighting in these shots reminds me of those awesome slammie shots...love it!

hope you guys enjoyed the latest round of picture insanity....

i was at the nail salon today and they have these lights that must be the same as jeweler lighting, they drop down from the ceiling to hang over your chair and MY GOD my ring and stone was just on blazing fire. i saw so many colors, and lots of green, which i don't get to see that often. you can bet my fingers were itching for my camera!!! i was thinking man we REALLY need to get some of these lights for the house.

The last shot is my fav. But OMG those purple flower shots were amazing as well. This new camera of yours is awesome. I loved the soft pink rose shots too .

Errrrr..........I''m speechless. While scrolling down, after every pic, I was going, "oh my!" and then taking a deep breath of air. Unbelievable! That ring is just PERFECT!

Oh, that last shot? Such a famed shot. I love it!

Wow that is just breathtaking! I have the same camera. I obviously need to read the manual!!!

thanks diamondsrock, kaleigh, milly and sundial....!!! and CJ and KD for their comments on the orange ones (i really love those!). i actually have taken alot more pictures (like hundreds more!!), but i am being SUPER discriminating now on what i post even though i end up liking many many more shots than i actually post....since this thread is so darn long i am forgetting what i posted to begin with etc. hehee.

i know i have said it before but the arrows in this stone just BEG to be photographed and are so easily captured, it''s really fun. the camera is no slouch either. that last shot that i captured was not even anything special, i was fairly surprised at how the shots came out because it was in a similar ''setup'' to pictures i had taken last week, maybe it was the late day lighting or similar in that same spot that yielded such FAB results. like a dark moody beauty!!
