That''s a promising sign!!! I''m ok this morning. I didn''t sleep all that well last night. My dog was up a lot barking at nothing in particular...

I feel like I am a light sleeper in general...how do you feel your temps differ on those nights that you toss and turn?

I think it''s supposed to be connected. Any activity can affect your temps. But trouble sleeping is also a symptom so who knows...

Well lady I am crossing and hoping for you! I am never a deep sleeper for any means. I shift and change positions like 10 times a night. I never get up or walk around but I do toss and turn!

Sorry hun, I decided not to test today, I''m waiting to see if AF shows up instead. I had no issues yesterday other than being bloated but that''s clearly from the PNV that have me backed up to last Tuesday.
ok... now I''ll wait patiently for AF not to show up.

hahaha thank you! (me too!)

Hi ladies first I''m crossing my fingers for you HH!!!

This is a little off topic but I was wondering for all the ladies that went off BC pills if you had any problems with weight gain? I went off of them in October and I have gaming about 15 lbs with doing nothing different! And really it has been a lot this last month I have noticed it! Is it hormones and will.they go back to normal?

On another note tomorrow is my o day so I am hoping this is the month for us we are bd''ing every other day! I won''t mind gaining a little weight if there is a baby coming!

I just learned that a good friend is expecting after 2.5 years of trying. That brings my current pool of pregger friends up to eight.

I''m in the same boat. I had 7 girls pregnant at my wedding, but they hadn''t told anyone yet. I have 8 friends that are all due within 2 months of each other. And these are close friends that all came to my wedding, no acquaintances counted. I have 4 baby showers in a week span!

No, if anything I noticed it was easier to lose weight once off BCPs.

I think married life made me put on weight. I didn''t have the pressure of the wedding looming around the corner and I let myself GO

sadness!

Me too Allie!

Hi Jena, I haven''t posted in this thread yet, but wanted to log in to respond to this with a big fat YES. I know a lot of people have an easier time losing weight off of bcp, but once I stopped (and I was on them for about 10 years), I have had a really difficult time with gaining with no diet differences as well. You aren''t alone! What''s been even more frustrating for me is that I''ve gained weight in places I previously didn''t. I''ve been off for about 6 months now and it has finally stabilized. Now I get the fun task of trying to get at least some of it back off.

Well with this post, I guess I am officially joining this thread! DH and I are 29 and we were married last April. We have a rough timeline of starting to TTC in earnest this upcoming March. I’ve been charting on and off since July and I *think* my cycles are starting to become more normal again post-bcp. I’ve really enjoyed reading all the information here and everyone’s stories! Good luck to everyone waiting to test soon!

I think I may message admin to change my screen name - in hindsight, it’s a little creepy.

Lurking - I like it :) welcome aboard. It is quite the journey! I agree about not putting on weight in the same place this time around. Back in 2003 I lost like 60lbs and sadly most of it has been gained back in the last 7 years. Majority of which in the last 6 months. Like 20lbs...I am a big boned girl, 5''10" and have never been slender per se but I miss being thinner. I am trying to shed a few lbs before baby! I used to carry most weight in my midsection but I feel like I have now gained it in my hips and thighs.

I think it''s an age thing too. I started gaining weight in different places (hips and thighs) when I got past 26. My sister warned me about it bc it happened to her too. Now I''m 31 and still the same weight as I was at 26, but it''s distributed differently I guess you could say.

Welcome lurker...

HH-Here''s to waiting...when is AF expected?

Lanie-I''ve been steadily gaining weight, including 5-10 lbs since we got married. The married weight is mostly eating more like my DH sized portions then what I normally eat (that''s changing now
3.gif
) The rest is a combo of getting older (I''m 31 now) , being busier, and being less active.
14.gif
I''m working on getting a better balance and being more active.

I can''t believe how many preggo friends you all have. Most of mine went through a baby boom about a year ago, so I''m guessing most of them will be getting preggo again next year...

I went off BC in August or September, and I''ve put on about 10 lbs. It''s really frustrating, because I don''t believe I''ve been doing anything different. In fact, we got a new puppy, so if anything, I''ve been a little bit more active. Not sure if it''s cause to contact my doctor, though...

High five on being 31 Bella!!! I think most of my friends waited longer to have babies. We are some of the last ones in the group to get married, although I still have quite a few friends who are still single.

But girls I went to high school with? Forget it! They are on their 3rd and 4th kids now. I just decided to do the college thing, then the Masters thing before getting married, etc.

Allie If you have any charts from a previous month can you post itÉ The range of pre-O and post-O temps is pretty constant over time and it could help. Looking at your chart you could have O`d on CD11 with a temp dip a few days later. Your current temps are much higher than the ones at the start of the month. Looking at past months you may be able to tell what is normal for you pre and post O.

Bella I am 31 too!

Lili I did not know you were TTC. Dust dust dust. Since you had a long journey last time, can you skip straight to an RE this timeÉ

(What is with the É in place of question marksÉÉ)

I''m 29, almost 30 and most of my friends are married with kids. I was the second to last to get married.

AF is due early this coming week.

Here is my chart from October...unfortunately I stopped temping after O (bad allie

) I have been keeping track of O pain and CP the rest of the months.
What do you think DD?

I too am in the 31 club. Not too many of my friends have children (most of us waited to get married) but I notice through Facebook that a number of those in my hs graduating class have a couple kids.

I gained 5-10 lbs coming off bc (I was on the patch, not pills) but I''ve since shed it. I think a lot of that (both gain and loss) were due to lifestyle changes, though.

Hi all you 31ers
9.gif

I did work, a masters, more work, and now work AND and MBA (I am a giant dork:-) plus my DH took forever to get to the point where he was ready to get married. So, here I am 31 and just married and ready to get KTFU if you know what I mean
3.gif
Hopefully it will happen in the next few months....

Dreamer-Are you TTC already? I''m a lurker on all the other threads and it seems like HUnter and the new job are keeping you quite busy

This brings up a good question for me (actually 2)

1. If you don''t mind me asking, or you answering
2.gif
, how old are all of us who are TTC?
2. What is the average time that you were on BC pill (if that was your preferred method of contraception) and how long did it take your body to "reprogram" back to normal cycles/O after getting off the pill

I''ll start
35.gif

1. I am turning 28 next month
2. I have been on the pill for about 10 years. I have not gotten off the pill yet.
8.gif
I have talked with my DH and although I wanted to stop it this month, he doesn''t want me to stop it until next month because our only friends with babies got off the pill and immediately got pregnant so now he thinks we will get pregnant immediately even though it will 99% take longer than a couple weeks to get KU. I am just waiting to get off of it so I can start to let me body gear up for some baby-making!

I''ll be 34 in April. I was on the pill for about 10 years too. My cycles remained totally regular immediately after going off (which was last August or September). Still waiting for a positive test result...

Hi! I am 30 and just got married and off the BC pill in October and so far I have been getting my period every 26-28 days since. I was on the pill for 11 years. I assume I am O'ing cause my periods are regular but haven't tested using a OPK yet. I wanted to give it a few months to just see what would happen. But so far no BFP yet I am praying this month will be it! :)

I''m 31, as I said. I was on bc about 15 years, I think - can''t remember exactly how old I was when I went on (is that weird?) I''ve been off about 16 months and am nowhere near normal - have only O''d twice since. The irony here is that back when I first went on bc, it was because I was getting my period every two weeks.

Bella, where did you go to school? I''m a mezzo also.
