This is so exciting. Did we not predict??? I really thought that you were KU with all your symptoms. And, I think we will be EDD twins b.c of our O days...FF said based on ovulation my EDD is Sept 17th.

Here's hoping to a healthy pregnancy for us both! 36 more weeks to go...

Icy I''m about 14 dpo today. I tested on a clearblue easy digital (the one that says preg vs not preg).

I was and still am taking Nature Made B Stress Complex which has C, E, the Bs, 400 mcg Folic Acid, Zinc and maybe some other stuff? This is in addition to my CVS brand prenatal which has 800 mcg of folic acid.

So a me-centric post. The last three days I haven''t been sleeping well. This morning I actually got up at 4:30 to pee (something I NEVER do) so I had to temp later than usual in order to get a 3 hours of consecutive sleep. My BBT gave me the exact same temp the last three days. I thought it was broken so I took it again later this morning and it was a different temp. What could be the culprit?

Culpret= a little cluster of cells called a ZYGOTE!
 
Kit, that seems super early! FF calculated mine (based on my 12/14 LMP date) as due October 18.

Congrats HH! It must be nice to know you are not just making up pregnancy symptoms. Are you gonna do anything fun to celebrate? I know you probably mentioned this before but what was your getting pregnant strategy this month (amount of BDing, before and after BDing rituals, etc)? Kit - feel free to share yours too!

Icekid and Allielove - hope you are next. Allie having 3 of the same temps in a row is definitely strange, but necessarily cause for alarm IMO.

Lanie - my first round of provera did not produce a period so they did an ultrasound and didn''t see anything wrong, but no built up lining either... so they prescribed another round of provera and that brought on a period. Doesn''t feel like a good sign, but my doctor said it''s probably just my body recalibrating after bcp.

I am on CD8 and got my first high reading on CBEFM this morning, which did seems somewhat hopeful - but people say your first month using it gives you ton of high readings. My fear is that I am not ovulating... so hopefully I''ll get some answers this month. Hoping the same for you guys too.

I have a random question:
Why in some tests for FRER or whatever, do the lines become blotchy/mottled?

Sometimes they are nice and even, other times the lines are all ragged/smeary/uneven? Some parts of the line are darker than others, they are mottled or even wavy...anyone experience this?

Just weird.

Just catching up on this thread, it has been so active lately!

I think that it depends on amount of, ahem, liquid that the test area soaks up. If you take 2 tests and put one in for the normal amount of time, and then put another in for a lot longer, the both the lines on the latter test will be darker, thicker, perhaps wavy or blurry. I did this when I tested on Wednesday b/c I just wanted 2 tests for comparison. They were both positive but one was more apparently so.

I will chime in also!

1. I am 33, 34 in Sept.

2. I was on the pill from the time I was maybe 21 or so until 31 when I got married, so 10 years. I would say based on charting/observing, the first cycle I did not O, then after maybe 3 more cycles I started to get EWCM and a predictable O and AF date.
 
Our GP strategy this month was pretty basic. LMP started on 12/14, so I knew the chances of O were strong between the 24th and 28th so we said we''d BD every other day during that period. Like clockwork I saw EWCM on the 25th and 26th. We BD''d on the 22nd, 24th, 26th and 28th. I think it was from our BD on the 26th.
 
The best advice everyone has given me is to have lots of BD''ing so from what you''ve just said Mrs H, that would ring true.

Gee, that''s so strange! Well, my FF VIP trial has expired, so I can''t go back and look. But I just used the Mayo Clinic''s onilne calculator and based on my LMP of 12/11, my EDD is 9/17. For a LMP of 12/14, the EDD is 9/20. It says it counts 40 weeks from LMP...

I think if your EDD is October that''s a very long gestation, no?

I think that a LMP in December would yield a a September baby depending on the length of your cycle?

Phew! This has been a crazy week. Work was insane and I am just trying to catch up on this active and exciting thread (as evidenced by all my posts this morning). Big shout outs to the gals in their 2WW...I am hoping it''s going to start raining BFP''s here!

FWIW, our strategy for this cycle was to BD O-2, O-1 and O. But, we actually didn''t even BD on O day becuase we were too tired (it was Christmas day, we got up early for presents with the kiddos and then went to bed late after a big meal

). We also used pre-seed and Instead cups. With my first pregnancy, we only BD''ed once, the day I got a +OPK (methinks O-1), and it did the trick. I didn''t use anything else while GOTF because I had ample EWCM and didn''t even know Instead existed! So, honestly I don''t think there is one perfect way to get KU. There is really no rhyme or reason to any of this.

I tested again this morning, and the line is much darker today, it''s just amazing. I can''t believe it! I have to get a pic on here of the BFPs, I think someone requested that a few pages back. I will note for those of you looking at symptoms, for me there was a lot more creamy CM in my luteal phase than normal (and this is still going on), cramping, tender boobs, and a bit of fatigue and bloating.

Not much else going on with me, I decided to stop temping as to not drive myself crazy, although I might temp maybe 1-2 times a week just to get some data points. I am headed to the Dr. on Friday for a blood test and to plead with her for more monitoring with this pregnancy. I determined to be positive with this pregnancy and use the power of positive thinking, but I am NOT waiting until 11 weeks for my first U/S again.

It''s nothing exciting, he was downstairs working and I was upstairs so I called him over and handed him the test.
