B!!!! How are you? Just FYI, I dropped some dust for you out at the pickle park between exits 5 and 6 on I95 south. hehehe
I am fantastic! Glad to hear you got some spiffy new clothes to wear and are more comfortable.

I''ll have to stop and pick up my dust on the way to Newbury Comics this weekend. I''ll make sure I plan to stop at the pickle park only when it is light out.

Ok, I just ordered my book and am ready to read it!

Hi Scarlet!
35.gif
Glad to see you over here.

Hi to you too, CDN!!!!
35.gif
Thanks for the welcome! It has been a long time since I''ve talked to you...hope all is well! Perhaps we can finally set up a NYC GTG soon. I know Harriet and probably Dani would be interested!

Hey ladies,

It''s almost Friday, thank goodness!
9.gif
.

KTF: Thanks for posting that list. I think there are terms on there that I didn''t even know about
2.gif
.

LTP: Welcome back from vaca, how was it? I imagine you had lovely spring weather in grand ole Paris
36.gif
. You ready to throw yourself into the TTC process now that you got your trip knocked out?

Catluver: Well, we DTD Monday, Teusday, and this morning. I am thinking that I may O manana, so I am going to try to get in another tonight, and another tomorrow night. Hopefully that will do it! That is exciting for you to be in the 2WW, and nerve racking too,
6.gif
. 5x sounds pretty good to me and it seems like you really increased your odds for getting a HPT this weekend
2.gif
I wish you lots of sticky dust and hope that you it worked for you! Btw, I am totally on the Instead Cup train if it doesn''t catch this time
20.gif

Brightlight: I love clean sheets too, so use the towel method as well
3.gif
. Btw, thanks for the quickie tip. We did that one this morning
6.gif
I can''t really comment on the temps b/c everyone has their own range of pre and post O temps, but hoepfully that is a good thing. I would say as long as you don''t have a temp drop, you should still be good to go. Good luck with POAS this weekend and please let us know how it goes!
1.gif

HH: I am totally going to try that move later, lol
12.gif

CDNinNYC: You have been pretty quiet lately. it''s good to see you pop back in. How is everything going for you?

****
Well I got my postive OPK this morning and another temp drop. I am thinking I may O tomorrow, so that''s exciting! We are trying to keep up with the bedding, but I guess it only takes one time, right?
21.gif
Well, I need to get back to this thing called work now. Have a great day everyone!

Late to the party but what wonderful news to drop in to!

Super psyched for you. And I love that it happened on your month "off."

Melz!!!!!!!!! You''re back!! I''ve missed you! I asked about you in another thread a month or so back! Thank you, thank you! Quite the surprise indeed!

So, how are you? Are you back back, or just checking in? I have to ask that because I always wondered how things worked out with you.

you are on a GREAT BDing plan, dc! i think this is gonna do it for you! yay! quickies count ;)

Haha...don''t know if I''ll love the guasa as much you.
Maybe my grandma was a bit heavy handed when it comes to scraping our backs.
My doctor gave me the ok to resume trying this month.
So I''m hoping that what they say about being extra fertile after a m/c is true.

dcgator
Sorry you and the other ladies didn''t get you BFP last month.
Maybe May is the month or your little one want to be born in the year of the Hare.
Yes, I''ll be trying shortly.
If you don''t mind, I prefer not to be on a list where I''ll be reminded of the DPO else I''ll be starting to look for signs and symptoms.
I''ve learned from past experiences that my body give mixed messages.
On months when I thought that I was preggo, I end up having AF slam me hard to the wall.
And the two times that I got my BFP were months when I felt all the symptoms of AF.
And those times, I didn''t get a positive until much later like 18 DPOs.
Just weird. Anyway, so now I just wait until my AF is late for almost a week to test :)

Sorry I''ve been mia the last day or 2, I''ve been *cough*busy baby making*cough*
17.gif
lol
I was eating a lot today so I said to dh "Man, maybe I am pregnant the way I eat!"
To which he replies "Uh uh, no way hun, you just ovulated today, you still have that 2 week wait ahead of you, so there''s no excuse for pigging out, guess we both better do the shred today since I had dairy queen"

lol what a smart you know what, and guess what, neither of us worked out lol

on a side note: happy 2nd birthday to my 1st cat son pepper!
9.gif

Dcgator, great job on the bd''ing - almost done!

We actually only managed 2x this cycle due to the previously mentioned stress. Last cycle was the 5x and that didn''t work, obviously. And that was only bc I got 4, maybe 5 positive opks. Thankfully only got one this time. Ideally next time we''d catch O-2 as well as O-1 and O. Doing it 5x was pretty challenging for us esp because I had no libido while on the pill, so we aren''t used to such frequency!

So I''m feeling a little guilty that I jogged today. I had to to release my stress and stay sane and a no-cardio workout just doesn''t do the job. Hopefully it didn''t "ruin things" but there''s no real way to know if it did (only if it didn''t). I know no one says you can''t jog while TTC, including my OB, but I am just super paranoid...it just seems like if your delicate little egg and/or sperm are floating around in there, waiting to implant, me bouncing up and down has to be disruptive! Oh, well.

Happy Friday!

35.gif
CatLuver, It only takes 1 sperm and 1 eggs, so you might be just fine:-)

I know, I get paranoid about the jogging too (not that I do it much:-)

AF showed up today, so CD 1 for me.

Hoo-rah for February babies:-)

Sorry about AF Bella, but a little Valentine baby would be so fun!
30.gif

Bella - Bummer about AF, but CD1 is a fresh start. I hope you and your hubby can enjoy some stress-free QT this cycle. Sounds like his men''s group might be just the support he needs to normalize this process and feel more relaxed. Really want this to be your cycle!

DCgator - sounds as though you have definitely given yourself a great shot with your bding frequency. Fingers crossed.

Lili - you have a lot of patience to wait that long... but as your experience shows you can''t really trust all the messages our bodies put out there. Good luck with your journey.

Cat luver - like others have said... it only takes once. I feel you about the jogging... but when I get thinking like that I remind myself of the centuries of women who worked hard day in and out laboring in fields and factories - and who managed to have big, healthy, happy families. Or cavewomen... they probably didn''t take it easy much either :) As to your question about the instead cups... you put it in so that you don''t really feel it anymore... if you feel it, it needs to go in further... it should essentially encircle the cervix. I have kept it in all night, but no longer that 8 hours... they say a max of 12 hours. "Leakage" sucks.

Houie - hoping that your BD marathon is underway. Let us know if you like the instead cups! Lots and lots of dust your way.

Plantation - very sweet pregosaurous story... I am sure that ornament will have more special meaning now. Thanks for the good wishes. (Who doesn''t like chocolate and peanut butter?)

Welcome Amandine! Very sorry about your sister - and I apologized for not knowing much about cystic fibrosis... is the risk only when both parents are carriers? Hope that is the case... good luck with your journey. I hope your stay is short.

Scarlet16 - you never know hoe long your body will take to recalibrate after BC. I wish I had gotten the advice to come off BC sooner rather than later, but every person is different. If you come off sooner you have the ability to track your cycles and get to know your body so that when you are ready to go, you can dive in head first... But if you are more worried about avoiding pregnancy until August and you aren''t in a rush, it can''t hurt to stay on it. Once you have the book, and go off BC you will want to get some cheapie OPKs and a thermometer.

LTP - welcome back! How was France?

brightlight - hope you don''t need to order the saliva tests after all. Dust, dust, dust. I think 98s are generally on target for post-o temps... so that is a good sign.

HH - love the legs over head maneuver... When I can confirm O and really feel like we are in it to win it... I won''t be above post-coitus headstands :)

----------------

As for me CD68... same old. Acupuncturist recommended I stop temping until I get my period and start a new cycle... not a bad idea. I like having that data, but I also know that it''s probably more stressful than helpful at this point. Costa Rica in less than a month... trying to keep my mind on happy thoughts.

I know! I responded to you in that MIA thread but it was some time afterward. So thrilled you are having a baby!

Nope, not back back. Just checking in to see if any of my old pals have conceived. I got a letter in the mail the other day reminding me that soon it will be one year since our frozen embryos were stored (August 2009). I can''t believe so much time has gone by. We are not trying, we have some things in our relationship we are working on. Which is unfortunate given that my window is shrinking, but what can you do.

ps we did get a puppy though .... this is Bailey.

So happy for you... Oh ladies, I'm so sorry I went MIA. Just been through so much - started with my best friend in the ICU from internal bleeding. It was touch and go for a month and I was so worried I dropped everything including PS immediately because I was needed. Funny how crises can do that. I went cold turkey! Also, DH and I went through a patch where we needed to focus on each other - touch base since the m/c and reconnect. We've both been working so much we needed to hole up and talk things out and things are so much better now.

I'm sorry I missed so much! It was kind of a relief not to be thinking about TTC and we kind of let things go in April. I missed the first half of April charting but then picked it up again for the second half.

I missed you all... and wow, so many BFPs in April!

Oh Kunzite... you must be so excited! So thrilled for you!!!

LV - my TTC sista! This is sooooo special!

PC - heehee... your BFP was the best news ever!!!! You fertile lady, you!

I'm hoping to join you April BFP ladies!

**********************************************************
So... I have some news to share. I had some cramping at 5DPO, which is what happened in my first pregnancy. (Early implanter? Slip N' Slide fallopian tubes? LOL) And then no other symptoms other than cramping. BBs are not even sore! But got my first faint positive on 8DPO...which darkened later in the day as I took more Wondfo strip tests... then today 9DPO, darker still but not super dark yet! I have an appointment with Dr. Kind & Nerdy on Monday. I'm concerned because I have no symptoms so I'm thinking that maybe...this isn't a viable pregnancy??? It doesn't seem real this time around! And 8DPO is so early - it seems too early to get a bfp. With my first, I had soooo many symptoms early on. No bfp until 13 DPO. This time, it's like I am not even experiencing AF symptoms, which is very odd. So we're just cautiously optimistic but almost not accepting that it's real yet. I don't want to get my hopes up at all!
39.gif
Maybe it's a chemical pregnancy since it's so early or not viable? So scary! I don't feel pregnant at all.

The one thing I did this month was run. I love to jog/run but stopped for a long time because I was afraid to during my last pregnancy and I was too depressed to run after the mc! This time, I was like... Ahhhh, no more fear! So I ran a lot and got strong again. Even now, I run! I think if the peanut is here to stay, it will hang on! I don't want to creep around anymore like I did last time. I think I lost myself and I want to be strong & fit again.
35.gif
I hope this peanut sticks, but if not... I think I'll be OK with it. Of course, things are different when it actually happens - but I'm really putting it in God's hands. And I'm going to live...and run, baby, run!!! It's what I love to do and it makes me happy.

Lots of love and dust to you ladies!!! Hugs, too!!!
30.gif

I''ll go ahead and be optimistic for you Bliss! Glad to see you back here and posting. Fingers crossed for a good visit with the doctor.

A cautious congrats to you Bliss! Remember, every pregnancy is different. I have a very viable bean (well more like small cantaloupe now) and I had little-to-know symptoms early on. Just take it one day at a time.

Another cautious congratulations Bliss!! So great to see you back on here... sounds like a tough couple weeks with your friend. Glad you and the hubby reconnected and that you could very possibly be on your way to being parents. Loads of healthy baby dust coming your way.
9.gif

Wow, I''m excited for you Bliss!!

I too have had zero symptoms other than being tired, but I''m almost 9 weeks, and the little one has a strong heartbeat! So lack of symptoms is not necessarily a problem.

Melz - your pup is ADORABLE... I have to keep telling myself we don''t have the time and space for a puppy but seeing pups like Bailey weakens my resolve.

Melanie, your puppy is SOOO cute!!!!

Bliss,

What wonderful news!! I completely understand that you want to be cautious, but I agree with HH, it is still sooooooo early and every pregancy is different!! I believe I am 14DPO today (maybe 15), and I also have none of the typical symptoms.

Sorry to hear about your friend. I hope everything is better now. Glad that you are feeling so strong now!! Take good care of yourself!!

him! I have two new doggies, but only for a limited time (fostering)! So, that brings us up to 4 dogs -- 3 greyhounds and 1 beagle-mix!! I''ve had the two fosters since Sunday and have already fallen in love!
30.gif

CatLuver - 2X (positive OPK day and about 36 hours later) was the magic number for us! Hope it works for you too!!

Lili - I''m sorry. I had no idea that you had a m/c. It is a sad fact of life for so many of us. I am glad to hear that your doctor gave you the ok to TTC.
1.gif

DCGator - Hope this is the month for you!

LTP - Welcome Back!! Will we see trip photos soon?

Amandine - Welcome!! Hope you have a short stay!

Bella - Sorry about AF. Hope you have a well-timed month!

Dear AF,

I understand that you like to come and see me every month right now, I have even come to accept that your visit just signals the start of another cycle; however, is it really necessary for you to also bring horrific cramps and to wreak havoc with my digestive system, particularly the poo parlor division? I promise, I will still notice that you stopped by for your visit even if you don''t do these things.

Sincerely,
Bella (who currently feels like she rotovirus curtesy of AF)

Well ladies,

It is finally FRIDAY, WOOHOO!
9.gif
TGIF indeed. It looks like things have really been moving today too
2.gif
. A HUGE welcome back to everyone''s biggest cheerleader, Bliss
36.gif
. I am so happy that you have popped back in here. We all missed you!

Melz: OMG, I so want to kiss your adorable little puppy
13.gif
. Sorry to hear about the issues with DH, but with that cute of a puppy, who can ever be upset?
25.gif

LV: So has it sunk in yet? I bet you are ready for your Doc visit on Monday. Just hang in there and enjoy your two foster babies this weekend
2.gif

Charbie: Thanks for the vote of confidence
21.gif
We are really trying hard this month, so I hope all our efforts pay off in a couple weeks
2.gif

Lili: No worries about the BFN last month, I guess it just wasn''t my time. But, I really have a good feeling about this month, so we''ll see
4.gif
. Just out of curiousity, when does the year of the Hare start? What kinda traits does the hare have? I wish you lots of luck with venturing back into the TTC pool. I am sorry to hear about your previous m/c''s but I hope that this time will go better for you. And I won''t add you to any lists, but I will keep saying hi/checking in, if you don''t mind
1.gif
. Btw, can I say what a lovely little lady you have there
12.gif

Smurfy: Happy birthday to your kitty son.
36.gif
. I am sending you lots of sticky dust for the coming weeks!

Catluver: Thanks for the kudos, and yes indeed, I think today will be it, b/c sheesh I am tired
20.gif
. That being said, I think it''s all out of our control. Like everybody else said, it only take one time
2.gif
. And don''t feel guilty about jogging. You know I am a runner too, and I am not about to stop cold turkey. Yes, I am taking a time out on the half marathons for a while, but I don''t think a few miles of running is going to hurt a potential little bean. Just don''t strain yourself doing anything crazy, and I think you will be fine. Enjoy your jogs and the rest of your weekend, and maybe in the midst of all that, you will be pleasantly surprised with a BFP
9.gif

Bella: Onwards to a better cycle for you lady. And I fully support your LO''s desire for a February b-day. Plenty of lovely people were born in February
2.gif
, not to mention a little Valentine''s baby would be the best Valentine''s gift ever!

Ryan Claire: Thanks for the good thoughts. I am really so very sorry that you body just isn''t cooperating. I can only imagine how frustrated you are but I applaud you for being such a strong woman and getting through this with you head held high. I think your acupunturist might have a good idea. I understand wanting to have the data, but temping can really add to the stress too. I would just focus on your awesome vaca to CR in a couple weeks and hopefully AF will pop up just to get some attention
2.gif

Houie: I hope that you managed to get some BD''ing time in between your crazy work schdule. I know you haven''t had much time to post, but I wanted you to know that I am thinking about you and hope that we get our BFP''s this month. Lots of sticky dust!
2.gif

Brightlight: I have got my fingers crossed for you this weekend. Please let us know how it goes. Good luck
1.gif

****
Well, I had my 2nd positive OPK today and my temp is starting to go back up. I am only at my coverline today, but as long as tomorrow goes up, I think I will have O''ed
9.gif
. This is really the first cycle where my CF has come in line exactly with my O date (rather than after it), so I am feeling good about it. We will see though...

I hope all you ladies have a FABULOUS weekend!
