Quick question... I'm on my 3rd day of blinking . Does that mean my levels aren't going up enough for a solid O? Am I reading into the instructions too much? I can tell things have been twingy on the left side for the past few days but now I'm just confused?

I just looked at my charts and I would ovulate usually the day of my first positive but then I would still get positives for 4-6 days after.

NM- I see CBE has a new advanced OPK out which must be what you are using. According to their website it usually identifies 4 days before ovulation, so I'd say 3 days of blinkies is just fine

If you're late and to the point where you're getting sick and it's related to being pregnant, that test will be positive no matter when you take it. So take it ASAP!

Aviastar, I'm waiting with bated breath to see your results! I'm fairly certain you'll be posting a positive, but don't want to speak too soon

SS, my CBE digi is a couple of years old, so I don't have the fancy model. I also had long surges and like AMC, the first positive was my actual positive.

AFM, I'm estimating that I'm about 3dpo. I have been crampy for the past few days and have heartburn, basically the same exact symptoms I had last time I was pregnant. It could just be coincidence--I'm not testing until next week.

Also, you ladies have probably heard of the needle test. You know, where you hold a needle on a string over your palm. If you're pregnant, it tells you the sex of the baby you're carrying. If you're not pregnant, it tells you how many kids you'll have and their sexes. It's all very scientific Anyway, for me it's always said girl, then boy. Now it's just telling me boy. I told D that I was obviously pregnant because I have heartburn and the needle told me. I lost count of how many times he rolled his eyes at me.

You can officially count me out NEL; cycle day 2.

Here's the excellent news: 29 day cycle this time- much closer to what I remember pre-BC. And less PMS, but more cramps (ugh, bad ones ) Also, much closer to what I remember. So I wonder if that first five week cycle with very short, very light, almost painless AF was totally legit; maybe more like a withdrawl bleed than an honest period.

We'll go this round without any additional tracking, but if we don't get our BFP this time I am going to add OPK's for a few months so I can be sure I am ovulating before talking to my midwives.

Yea for cramps and heartburn, NEL!! Keeping fingers crossed for you!

Bah, well I'm sorry about AF. But that's great news about having a normal cycle. It does sound like the last one (the 5 week cycle) could have been anovulatory. I think your plan to see how it goes for another cycle before using OPKs is a good one. Now that you've had a normal cycle, it's likely you're ovulating.

Still crampy over here. I know this week is going to fly by, so my plan is to test at the end of the week. I'm not positive when I Oed, so I don't know how many dpo I am (which is driving me crazy), but last time I had a BFP at 8dpo. So I'm hoping I will know one way or the other before next weekend.
