The sidestones search for my tsavorite: Part Duex

Thanks, VL. It looks horribly odd, doesn’t it? I much prefer your initial diamonds in the shank version. I wonder if a wrap-around of sorts greeting the tsavorite on the other side above the plain band will even out the look. Geez, you should get paid for suggesting such great ideas and photoshop work.

I like it better with the diamonds just on the two shoulders. My image source for these lines of melee was a curved band by leon (to give some peace of mind to those who suggested him), but Ive been transforming and shaping the curve in photoshop. I am picturing a branching of one of the sides with the setting heads organically sprouting up. It may be time for some pencil work on that view. I mean it's not closed at the top but that one shoulder terminates with a setting and the other branches and has 2 termini, in the form of settings

Chrono - seriously whilst I can appreciate the design incorporating the Tsav it's way out of proportion. I mean WAY out of proportion. All I see is Tsav and to hide those gorgeous FCDs seems criminal to me. They are stars in their own right and the design just seems to swamp and dilute them. Sorry to be so blunt but it's one of my least favourite designs you've come up with - simply because it's not balanced in any way. However, I'm not the one who would be wearing it but I wonder seriously how much wear you'll get out of it, compared to say 2 or 3 things with your FCDs as the star of the show???

Sorry for singing out of tune, I am concerned that FCD or any yellow or pink stone will shift the color scheme and mask the beautiful secondary blue of this tsavorite. Blue (irradiated) diamond melee could work better. Someone on the PS used white topazes for budget reason (as side stones for a sapphire, I think), and it may work well here. Or perhaps light-blue sapphires?
Also, RI of FCD ,may not work well with the RI of the tsavorite.

Hi Chrono.

I make no claims as a designer, but thr pink diamond looks out of place to me(saturation. I would like to see some blue round saphhires with it. I really was thinking about kyanite(colorwise. I love green and blue together like Kaleigh's emerald and sapphire ring. Sorry can't pull it up.
I do like like the yellow pear as a sidestone but think it detracts from the blue cast in the tsavorite.
I think I'd like a hotter color puple-pink stone next to the tsav, as well, but my vote goes to blue and green.
