jstar- The jeweler at Solomon Brothers is a real stickler for safety and utilitarian prongs. I had a really hard time getting him to do double claw prongs on my cuprian. I actually didn''t even think about asking what prongs he planned to use on the tsav, which was an oversight on my part as the halo is custom. But IRL I love the v-prongs with this stone. When you look at it, the prongs just disappear into the halo so that the stone is showcased. I louped it after I picked it up and the stone seems secure.

onvacation - it really does! I must look like a total idiot because I''m like a cat chasing the sunlight so that I can see it sparkle off the ring.

Great! I''m so glad it''s secure...if a gorgeous rock like that popped out of the setting and got lost, it would be a nightmare!
