I am dealing with the same struggle as we speak haha so I can feel your pain! I think if you kept both and decided to sell one at a later date you may be able to recoup what you paid? But it's a tough choice, I agree.

I am the same way about spending money, but when I fall into the trap you are running in — agonizing over what is, for me now in my life and perhaps for you too, a small amount of money to spend on something that bring you joy — I just tell that poverty trauma voice to STFU. If you like them both then keep them.

Personally, I would keep both, and if you decide you don't want/need both, at that price, and the WF pedigree, I think you would be able to unload one on Loupe Troop pretty easily.

Well, we'll see if I love it enough to keep it when it arrives, but I just snagged a Tiffany Lucida band I'd had my eyes on for a while but it sold, then was returned, then sold again as soon as it was relisted, then was returned again. Not really a bargain, nor my typical style, but I love the Lucida cut.

I love the Lucida… it’s such a pretty cut… a perfect nod to an antique omc/acc. I’m interested to hear what you think about the sapphires… if they are blue or go black. I’ve been eyeing the same Tiffany band with sapphires on eBay but hesitant jump on it before my Grace is home

The sapphire appearance will definitely be the determining factor. I've ordered & returned so many sapphire bands for being dark. Here's hoping this one is finally a winner!

That is frustrating, especially because all those days mid-transit count towards the return period. So, when you finally get it, you have to make your mind up pretty quick.

I don’t think they’re organized enough to consider that But maybe a combo of intentionally shortening the return period and wanting people to sign up for the express shipping membership. I paid for the express option for 1 month (forgot to cancel so it ended up being 2) and things ship out same day. Otherwise it takes a day or 2 to process then 4-5 days ground shipping from the Arizona warehouse. Painfully slow! I wish they stayed in NJ. Boo.

A sales associate recently told me that ‘stylists’ and ‘business customers’ get special perks including 24 hold times instead of 20 mins. Pure conjecture here but maybe they also get quick shipping and it slows processing of other orders?

I love them. I hate them.

I wasn’t sure how I’d like such small asschers since you can’t clearly see all the steps but I actually like the understated, not so flashy appearance as with round cuts. It has an antique feel with the yellow diamonds. I think I like it… hard to tell since I have no sunlight here (and won’t for a few more months).

What do you all think? Does the stamp look like Jewels by Grace? It’s similar to several bands she has on her website. I’d LOVE some honest opinions!

It has an antique feel with the yellow diamonds. I think I like it… hard to tell since I have no sunlight here (and won’t for a few more months).

What do you all think? Does the stamp look like Jewels by Grace? It’s similar to several bands she has on her website. I’d LOVE some honest opinions!

Well, I for one love it! It is very stylish right now. The gold is a beautiful color. The diamonds look really well cut well matched and I love the color. It looks very unique. I don’t know if it’s a J by G I’ve never seen their makers mark before. I bet if you messaged them on Instagram or sent them an email and asked they would tell you.

Funny you say that! I steamed it with a jewelry steam cleaner but I was thinking it might need a little more love…

There’s some old gunk that doesn’t come off with steam or a baby toothbrush I found. When I’ve had really bad situations, I have mixed one part household ammonia with six parts boiling water and soaked it for about five minutes. The dirt will just fall away but watch out for the fumes. It’s safe on diamonds and precious metals for short dips.

Edit: my comment about dirty rings was for springer spaniel not for you, Django. Your gold ring looks amazing.

@Django74th - I'd be shocked if it's not a jewels by Grace piece, that hallmark is so specific. In terms of if you should keep it -- it's a lovely ring and excellent craftsmanship, but if you don't love it, I'd return it. I always think to myself, "Would I rather have this item, or $3,000/purchase price off on another project?" It's absolutely GORGEOUS either way

I know! I was really surprised at first also. They ask for your wishlist for items to offer you before they are listed to the site, but I have way too many things on my wishlist, with too specific of parameters, therefore I only have a couple of very generic items on mine that I think a non-jewelry person would recognize (e.g. some vintage branded items). I wish my SA was a pricescoper, then I could really ask for some unique diamond pieces!

That is just an HG of an eternity band,at least for me! So happy for you but, true confession.. wish I had seen it first since I wear that size too! But seriously, really happy for you!
