Any chance you'll be getting your asscher re-set in a matching setting? I'm worried for your asscher all of a sudden. Aside from the stunningly perfect proportions of this setting you and Boone have created, it also looks so much more more protective...

Yes, I'm considering getting my asscher put into a matching setting since it offers better protection, does not destroy an asscher's squareness, lets in 50% more side light, gives 50% better view.

It's almost like a tension setting in BOTH directions.

But then again . . . what if GOG gets in a 2.3 carat Octavia.

It's a guy's chest just like you'd see on any beach or public swimming pool in America - maybe not in February though, unless you are in So. Cali.

The Christmas Octavia was a complete surprise.
We looked at a few settings together but the final decision and the design changes were a surprise.

That ring is awesome, that stone is awesome! Oh, my. I can''t believe you managed to permit such a complete side view of the stone when safely set in a ring! And keeping the symmetrical shape really rocks - its one of the things that held me back from a tension setting and this ring just hits it out of the park. Wowzers.
