Time to reset “Winter” my 3.01 ACA!

I'm trying to decipher the CAD...so will the part(s) of the band that hold the baguettes be attached to the prongs, or just snug up close, kinda-sorta like a cathedral does?

My skills with CADs are very limited, and I am so appreciative when people share theirs, and I can sort of get an idea of how to "read" them. So thank you! :)

We’re still in that phase where I’m trying to decide how it will connect to the head. In that single cad below the one he sent me above that showed four views…didn’t show that I had the baguettes prong set. That would be something you would have to convey to the jeweler. I want this new set to snug in..The way I’m trying to let him know is to show him photos of finished rings. The itty bitty details sometimes don’t show up on a cad like the one you see above. I don’t have a stylus to draw over a cad so I crudely use my finger. Poor David..I sent him a bunch of emails last night. The man is a saint. This is the last one I just sent this morning..lol This is just a photo I found online that I liked so I just scribbled on it.

I love - and I mean LOVE the ring pictured in this post. I think, were you to add more delicate prongs/claws to the center stone, it would be my all time favorite 'round with baguettes' setting I've ever seen. The setting of those baguettes is superlative.

This is going to be AWESOME, J!
 
I'm on pins n' needles waiting to see how gorgeous your ring turns out! Do you have a general time frame for when this beauty will be on your lovely hand?

I have an old hand @sparklebug so hopefully my ring will be pretty so it draws attention away from it! .:lol-2: I think it may be ready in four to six weeks. Once in a blue moon I’m surprised that it’s done earlier. We’re just tweaking the design a little so it may be faster..Fingers crossed!!

Winter was due to arrive at David’s shop today by 4:30. I‘ve been on pins and needles all day tracking it. I just got a notice that the package is delayed! The tracking history has also collapsed to say it’s in Los Angeles. A few hours ago it said it was at the Los Angeles distribution center..Now it doesn’t say where it is..just that it’s delayed and will be delivered tomorrow by 4:30. :oops2:

Thank you @MissGotRocks @junebug17 and @springerspanie….I needed a little hand holding. Sending a diamond or gem through the mail is so stressful!
 
She’s here!! I absolutely love this ring! I’ve been waiting for this ring since I’ve been 20 years old! David knocked it out of the park! I take horrible photos as you all know but I snapped a few. I had David shave off a little of the prongs thinking they were sticking out a bit when I saw his video. He couldn’t take much off saying it would compromise the setting. When I opened up the little blue velvet box today I was blown away..Winter has the tiniest baby claws. They’re adorable! This is a long way from my little included pear that I got when I first got married 48 years ago!

ETA: @MamaBee Do bands sit flush, or is there a slight gap? I notice a slight gap in your photos, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's there—could just be the photo. :)
