She's absolutely stunning and perfect in every way! I'm SO happy for you!
I meant to mention - the head still has ‘swoop’! I love that so much more than straight up and down prongs. His prongs are perfect too - I prefer them to blend into the diamond rather than be ‘the prongs’! I think he did a great job and right in line with what you wanted. Win-win!!
Fantastic re-set , and it looks fabulous on your hand!!! Thank you for all the photos with various angles.
ETA: @MamaBee Do bands sit flush, or is there a slight gap? I notice a slight gap in your photos, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's there—could just be the photo.
She’s here!! I absolutely love this ring! I’ve been waiting for this ring since I’ve been 20 years old! David knocked it out of the park! I take horrible photos as you all know but I snapped a few. I had David shave off a little of the prongs thinking they were sticking out a bit when I saw his video. He couldn’t take much off saying it would compromise the setting. When I opened up the little blue velvet box today I was blown away..Winter has the tiniest baby claws. They’re adorable! This is a long way from my little included pear that I got when I first got married 48 years ago!
It’s definitely better! I used to use blue Dawn but someone on PS suggested using the Citrus Simple Green..Was that you @YadaYadaYada? It really makes a difference. I‘ve been putting it full strength into my ultrasonic..Then I rinse it off thoroughly with warm water.. Today I dipped it in 91% alcohol as the last step..I plan to get canned air for after that last step..I don’t want to blow myself up so maybe skip the alcohol? Canned air contains a propellant. @kenny?
Hah! I was just wondering about this, as I couldn't seeee the details in the photos! Thank you so much for sharing this info, @MamaBee! Very helpful!@sparkliebug You asked the question before about how the top of the baguette attached to the bottom of the head of the ring. Some baguette settings have a very noticeable bar or cup holding the head of the baguette to the bottom of the head of the setting. I didn’t want it to be prominent. I asked him to tuck the head of the baguette under the head as much as possible. He did a beautiful job because I can’t even see how it attaches. It’s just right under the head without anything showing how he attached it.
