I saw a brooch posted to Lang Antiques this morning and decided to make the trip there today to see it in person. I had never been there before but it was incredible! They have such an amazing collection, I could have easily spent the whole day there just looking at everything.
I have the brooch in question on hold now and would love the PS opinion. This would be my first antique piece and my first brooch.

Photo on my wrist for scale:

Lang says it's 9.1g mainly in platinum with a 14k white gold pin and 1.6ctw of G/H/I VS/SI diamonds (0.55ctw for the three main OECs, the remaining 1.05ctw in melee). It's $2475. I know Lang won't ever be a deal, but I'm wondering what the experts think and if anyone has seen anything similar elsewhere. I really love the floral motifs, the simple outline, the negative space, and the size. I'm not sure how much I'll wear it because, again, I've never owned a brooch. It seems like it might be a reasonable candidate for a bracelet conversion worst case? And it definitely would work well on a ribbon as a choker and maybe even as a bracelet, though it might be just a little too long for that. I probably don't have enough hair to wear it as a barrette without professional help. I wear sweaters and scarves but not a lot of blazers or jackets -- though maybe that's worth changing for the right jewelry!
Thanks in advance for any advice
