Last time we were there, my hubby was offered a job in management. It was so hard to say no, but we could not leave family here. Besides that, I most likely would would have come down with Island fever.

Well, we would have our house in sunny NM of course since it is much cheaper here and spend every vacation there. It is just a dream right now.

Did you ever go to the beach that hardly anyone goes to? Maybe they do now, but not when we were there.

You have to drive down this loooooooooooooong, unpaved dirt road to get there. The beach is breathtaking though. Wish I could remember the name of it.

Which shore? We stayed in Princeville so we were mostly in the North shore. We did go to Anini beach and Poipu.

I forgot what these falls were called on the Big Island.

Skippy How is the big Island? We have been to Honolulu and Maui and Kauai is our favorite by far.

It is more like Maui. Very different. I always explain it with my hand; the fingers are like lava flow and then there is rainforest between the fingers.
I don''t know if that makes sense? It is very green on the North. I love it on the North. The West and East have tons of lava.

My favortie is Kauai, then Oahu, then Maui and Big Island. They are like kids, you love them in their own special way I guess.
