Oh wow, that looks like heaven. So glad you had a fabulous trip. I am sooooo jealous, as I missed going to Antigua this year. Do you mind telling us what resort this is?? Everything looks amazing!!!

Thanks guys! It was very nice...We stayed at The Palms.....It was beautiful....not a 5 star by US standards...(I''m such a tough critic and hotel snob....and I think it''s a 4 star in TC)..it was a LITTLE rough around some edges...)....but well priced for what it offered...the beaches were beautiful as you can see! We made reservations at different restaurants each night...I found the island a little depressing bc it is very poor, but the staff was so nice....food was great! I don''t want to go back to work tomorrow...UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG!!!! The water is turquoise *miranda glances out window at yucky grey/green Pacific and sighs*! What a fab trip! It looks like you had a fantastic time. How relaxing! LOL about your DH''s short shorts...I don''t know how old you are or if they were just a west coast thing, but, OP shorts from the 80s ringing any bells hehe

i want to go to the turks and caicos for my honeymoon or a pre-bridal vacation and my mom said it was very expensive. here''s to more begging now after seeing those pics!

i love crystal clear water it is pretty. not only that, but because i can see what is around me! i am afraid of sharks and sting rays and jelly fish, so i feel more comfortable in clear water than say, water in florida...

Funny, I am a tad ol fashioned I guess...I don''t get the man thing and the long shorts...to me they look like they are wearing skirts. In my book...either wear shorts...or pants not shants! What your hubby appears to be wearing are shorts. No need to apologize...he is on a jet ski in a swim mode...proper attire acquired. I was more focused on his farmers tan...look how pasty white his biceps are....forearms tan...biceps white...wonder why MoreMoreMore was more worried about his shorts....I LEAN IN CLOSER to screen...Oh Eureka...He is wearing a T-shirt...white one...whew.

Ok, I promise no more inch away from the moniter and focusing on your hubby...I will lean back and enjoy the blue blue blue...I wouldn''t have thought one thing about the shorts...but you did bring it up...I had to figure out what you meant...

PS. My personal opinion: The guy leg is normally not attractive from the knee down...I vote to reinstate thigh viewing rights. Expose the thighs...guys!!!

I am sooo glad you had such a great time.. and I am soooo glad that you got to experience my "home"... soooo glad you chose to come here!!!

Your pictures are fabulous.. and I recognized that pic of Magnolia.. I hope you got a fabulous sunset... because that is the BEST spot on the island for a sunset!!! and their food is divine!!! what other restaurants did you hit?

You guys made it through a couple tough storms here (honestly... the worst storms I have seen since living here!!) but at least the days cleared up,and it was just the nights that were stormy!!!

You are right about the poverty... it is quite sad.. did you get to see any of the local pups while you were here? They are the sweetest!! but definitely have a rough hard life!!

omg--i went to T&C about 6 years ago and LOVED it. the water is amazing...thanks for posting pics and bringing back great memories for me.

Thanks guys! The place was every bit as fab as it looks!!! SIGH.......I'm burning upon re-entry into work today HAHAHA....

And door knob, you made me LOL!!! Yes, he's wearing a T-shirt...That sun is pretty crazy hot even in the water...I felt like my face was going to fall off from the salt water and sun on my face....I like the shorts a little above the knee...that strong wind makes him look like he's wearing who wears short shorts ... I swear I almost fell off mine...

Jaders- Yup! That's Magnolia...and yes, we saw the sunset...all of my dinner reservations were for 7:30...It was sooo pretty.....The food was YUMMERS....ALthough my favorite food that was to die for was Simba. OMG. That chicken. OMG.
We also did Hemmingways, Bay Bistro, and Bella Luna (I also had a resie for Bacci but decided last minute to try Bella Luna)...We also had lunch at the Bafefoot Cafe...I loved the Cajun Chicken Wraps at The Palms. I seriously had it every day for lunch LOL....We were only there for 5 nights so I didn't do any others...I also had also wanted to go to Iguana but never made it. Next time

That RAIN on Wednesday or Thursday night was crazy!!! Driving through the puddles was sccaaarrryyy in my little rent-a-car...but I got a great photo out of it....And those roads to get to the jet ski was scary! I thought my wheels were going to fall off (think that movie Road Trip) HAHAHA!!
