Thanks guys! It was very nice...We stayed at The Palms.....It was beautiful....not a 5 star by US standards...(I''m such a tough critic and hotel snob....and I think it''s a 4 star in TC)..it was a LITTLE rough around some edges...)....but well priced for what it offered...the beaches were beautiful as you can see! We made reservations at different restaurants each night...I found the island a little depressing bc it is very poor, but the staff was so nice....food was great! I don''t want to go back to work tomorrow...UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I''m s glad you posted all of these lovely photos. This is exactly where I am staying for my Honeymoon (the Palms at T&C). It is nice to see that it is as pretty in your photos as the web site makes it out to be.

Arent the puppies just the absolute cutest... My hubby and I have adopted 3 so far... they are just the kindest sweetest things around!!!

As you can see drainage is somewhat of a problem on the island.. last week''s storms definitely caused major problems.. .and unfortunately, the tourist rental car pool, isnt exactly what you want to be in when it rains like that. I hear stories of the year before we got here.. and there was nearly 3 feet of water pooled on the road... ughh.. I soooo hope that I am not around if that ever happens again.


Simba is one of my hubby''s fave restaurants here... but I have to say after visiting O''Soleil at the Sommerset!!! I am in love.. they are amazing!!! Its too bad you missed Iguana (although I have never been), last monday was their last Caribbean bbq night of the season, and they had a steel drum band.. it was soo cool (my gym is upstairs from it.. so I always leave the gym wanting bbq) Sounds like you hit a lot of really good restaurants.. excellent choices. What did you think of Bella Luna?... its sooo hit or miss with the residents here...

Omigosh that place looks amazing. I haven''t had a vacation in eons and I am sorely needing one...I think I visibly de-tensed while viewing your pictures!!
