@ChickityChicken
Beautiful set!
I AM a little biased, as I often wear a similar yellow gold band, or a yellow gold channel set band
with my yellow diamond, too. I feel like it brings out the color of my center stone.
@Diamond*Dana , I LOVE this stack!
Thank you so much!
I realize it isn’t as “wow” as the ones frequently shown here, but I wanted something I could wear comfortable at work. I’m a nurse and am washing my hands and donning and doffing gloves more than usual lately. I found myself worrying about my usual set and pulled the trigger on this set. I received them on Tuesday and am already in love. Thank you again for your nice comment
This is my engraved channel set with matching band. .5 carat, G, VS2 triple x, 18k white gold. I had the worst time deciding on a wedding band because I wanted something that looked good and was comfortable. The formula that worked for me was to size way up to 7 for both and then solder them together. I’m shocked I like the soldering as much as I do but it just eliminates all the fussing I was doing trying to align them. It’s like a different kind of “mind-clean”! And because they’re sized big, I can sleep and exercise with my rings and it doesn’t bother me.
This is so lovely and elegant and bridal, as well!
Just out of curiosity - do you wear a wedding band with it? I've been a bit fascinated lately with just wearing the engagement ring without a separate wedding band. I'm one of many enthusiasts around these parts that have multiple engagement- and wedding-ring type rings beyond my original ones and interchange them, but some of them, I've decided, just look so much better by themselves, or look equally good by themselves as with a band, that I've taken to only wearing the one ring on a fair number of days, and I'm curious how many others do that as well.
Ah, this just looks so elegant and bridal to my eye. Lovely and blingy enough to thoroughly enjoy and be nice for dressed up, yet understated enough for everyday dressed down, busy-with-hands wear, and much more durable than pave.
Looks huge
