Under 1ct diamonds

I love a nice Henri Daussi diamond, and they really lend themselves to halo settings. Lovely ring!

Thank you!

I'm just getting into diamonds and it has a bit of a bow tie but I've seen worse. ‍♀️

0.54 oval K VVS2 Medium fluorescence also solitaire from James Allen.

It faces up fairly white in most lighting. When I take flash pics or videos for fire and scintillation it can look pretty deep colored.

Thank you, it was made by Ft Thomas Jewelers in Highland Heights, KY and the CAD designer there. is named Taylor Benton. They’ve made a few things including the emerald bar ring in my avatar. Love them.

So I know this post is old but I'm originally from N KY though I live in Louisville now. Love Ft Thomas Jewelers! They did some sizing etc for me when I lived there and are quite affordable and quick! Love your ring!!

Eta also i just realized I put vvs2 for my 0.64 oval its an eye clean si1 lol....this one however really is the vvs2. Sorry!!

My engagement ring is a princess solitaire, less than a carat but I don’t know the specs- my sweet husband bought it as an estate piece 15 years ago! He surprised me with a blingy new band for my birthday this year and I decided to research a new, bigger e-ring to match the size a bit better, which led me to PS! I’ll start a post when I “upgrade”. I’d never trade in my ring but there’s so many beautiful rings out there!D32C17F2-14B8-45CB-853F-010791DC1F31.jpeg

Good going getting such an excellent cut unbranded!!! Love this

Mine is around 1ct. It’s an OEC, Antique Art Deco from the 20’s. My ring size is 56AD44C35-19D3-4492-BAD1-41B19F84B004.jpeg1FD35AAC-080F-4512-B905-C2EF556A51E4.jpeg
I would have been at a loss as to what to pair with your ring for bands but I love this combo of yellow with white metals. That band is amazing. I dream of wandering into a vintage store and finding something like this.

Thank you! I did find both the Engagement ring and wedding band by just seeing it in the antique section of my jewelry store. At different times I should add, The gold band is from Etsy

Love your transitional, I don't see enough of them. And what a fabulous ring!

@Ibrakeforpossums, oh thank you so much, I do love how very deco this ring is, it's beautiful in all light but in low light.....amazing.

Thank you! I think I have that combination here. Lol I keep obsessing over it and trying various bands, etc. I think my problem too is the ring feels a little tight and is giving me “finger muffin top” :lol:799BCAAC-FFCA-4788-9035-2D5199C12853.jpeg

That's beautiful on your hand! Don't go much bigger, you don't want it slipping off when your hand is cold.

Thank you @Begonia! I love it..have a pic of it in a stack but can take one of it alone if you want. Let me know.

I want this ring. Seriously, it's fabulous and unique and I want it. Where do you live? I will park in your driveway with cash. For your local police, I drive a 2002 Honda Insight with fake Alpha Romeo badges and WI plates. I'm 64 and I limp.
Honestly, it's KILLER! Well-done!!!

The ascher is a .5 IF, D excellent cut & polish. I bought it as a forever reminder of my once in a life time horse when I put her down after 23 years as part of my life.

I set it along side a small alexandrite in an open ring. Went with the changeable alexandrite as the horse in question was one who had two different personalities. In the barn she was a laid back, fat and happy, lazy dog type. Carrots and apples were her life.

Put her in front of a giant jump and she turned into a fierce, fire breathing dragon who could and would jump anything you put I front of her, at speed, never putting a good wrong.

So you evented her? She looks like a maniac over that fence.
Most of my life, I thought, I don't need a diamond, I have a good horse. Mine are gone, your mare is gone. You have made a beautiful tribute to her. Thank you for sharing.

My .72 W-X SI1 asscher in a white gold Ivy & Rose semi-mount with .12 ctw of diamonds. I lived in this thread while I was trying to pick out a setting and couldn't wait to add this one!rps20190126_092137.jpg

Heathcat24, your ring is gorgeous! Where did you find that lovely Asscher?

After about two years of lurking I thought I might make an account  and to inaugurate it, here's my e-ring. .81 I VS1, excellent symmetry and polish, but... the cut is just Very Good! I picked this stone on James Allen because I loved it, but it was before I had spent time here and really had it driven home how important cut is. For whatever reason, I still think it's a beautiful diamond, but I always wonder if my eyes are just wrong and it would look better with a better cut. Cost under $5K including the setting (James Allen style 17036P, platinum, size 5).

Your diamond is very beautiful! I think there are diamonds with beauty that surpasses their numbers and grades. Don't doubt yourself so much.

Thank you so much! The stone came from B2C Jewels. I was just browsing what they had available, ran across this one and requested pics. The setting is a semi-mount from Ivy & Rose. I still love it!

I did event her, and steeplechased and show jumped. She was born to gallop over fences. Never refused a fence and rarely hit a rail.

I love B2C, I have two emerald cuts from them and a real hankering for an Asscher just like yours. Thanks for posting this lovely ring!
