I love a nice Henri Daussi diamond, and they really lend themselves to halo settings. Lovely ring!
Thank you!

Thank you, it was made by Ft Thomas Jewelers in Highland Heights, KY and the CAD designer there. is named Taylor Benton. They’ve made a few things including the emerald bar ring in my avatar. Love them.
Good going getting such an excellent cut unbranded!!! Love this
I would have been at a loss as to what to pair with your ring for bands but I love this combo of yellow with white metals. That band is amazing. I dream of wandering into a vintage store and finding something like this.
@Smith3 I totally agree with @Girlfriday17 . This combination is stunning!! It looks fantastic all together.

My engagement ring is a princess solitaire, less than a carat but I don’t know the specs- my sweet husband bought it as an estate piece 15 years ago! He surprised me with a blingy new band for my birthday this year and I decided to research a new, bigger e-ring to match the size a bit better, which led me to PS! I’ll start a post when I “upgrade”. I’d never trade in my ring but there’s so many beautiful rings out there!
Thank you @Begonia! I love it..have a pic of it in a stack but can take one of it alone if you want. Let me know.
I want this ring. Seriously, it's fabulous and unique and I want it. Where do you live? I will park in your driveway with cash. For your local police, I drive a 2002 Honda Insight with fake Alpha Romeo badges and WI plates. I'm 64 and I limp.
Honestly, it's KILLER! Well-done!!!
The ascher is a .5 IF, D excellent cut & polish. I bought it as a forever reminder of my once in a life time horse when I put her down after 23 years as part of my life.
I set it along side a small alexandrite in an open ring. Went with the changeable alexandrite as the horse in question was one who had two different personalities. In the barn she was a laid back, fat and happy, lazy dog type. Carrots and apples were her life.
Put her in front of a giant jump and she turned into a fierce, fire breathing dragon who could and would jump anything you put I front of her, at speed, never putting a good wrong.
After about two years of lurking I thought I might make an account and to inaugurate it, here's my e-ring. .81 I VS1, excellent symmetry and polish, but... the cut is just Very Good! I picked this stone on James Allen because I loved it, but it was before I had spent time here and really had it driven home how important cut is. For whatever reason, I still think it's a beautiful diamond, but I always wonder if my eyes are just wrong and it would look better with a better cut. Cost under $5K including the setting (James Allen style 17036P, platinum, size 5).
Heathcat24, your ring is gorgeous! Where did you find that lovely Asscher?
So you evented her? She looks like a maniac over that fence.
Most of my life, I thought, I don't need a diamond, I have a good horse. Mine are gone, your mare is gone. You have made a beautiful tribute to her. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much! The stone came from B2C Jewels. I was just browsing what they had available, ran across this one and requested pics. The setting is a semi-mount from Ivy & Rose. I still love it!
