A casual CBI upgrade from .53 E to .70 G. I feel it’s beginning to look somewhat sizeable, although I do want to get to 1 carat by the end of the year!

I saw this moval in a baguette and emerald setting, the emeralds were so damaged and I had to rescue this poor baby.


it’s very white and appears colorless with no visible inclusions with the loupe, I only know it’s .55ct. Plan on setting it in an East to west claw prong pendant paired with a dainty chain

Today is my Granny’s birthday. She passed away 3 years ago. She would be 99 today! In her honor I am wearing her wedding rings. Married in 1939.

The first one is a two tone set, soldered together. The little details include hearts and rubies ( her/our birthstone) she loved hearts! ( I inherited about 27 heart necklaces lol !)

I’m assuming this was her “ upgrade” ring at some point because I found this next ring, along with the newspaper announcement of Grandparent’s engagement. The diamond was missing and it had a broken shank. I think the original diamond was put in the the first ring I posted.

I had the shank repaired and sized to fit me and I happened to have a teeny tiny old ring from another family member that I removed the diamond from to put in this ring! I love them so much, it reminds me of my grandparents great marriage ( 60 years) and also their sweet and humble life.

.78 oec platinum. The band is platinum eternity w/ oec's about .75tcw.

Above it is a rose gold maybe .10 oec
Middle finger: yellow gold w/ .25 oec (it's the brightest litte diamond!) W/ a band I found that I think matches really well.
Pointer is my Grandma's ring. Unplated 14k white gold w/ maybe a .20 oec w/ her platinum band.This is the ring that my love for vintage/antique started with. I love the sides & engravings are amazing. I love all these rings & wear them all.

I love everyone that has shared their photos! So many beautiful rings and wonderful stories. I am getting a 7 stone band to wear with my wedding ring. The center stone is .75 and has two tension set .10 stone on the side (I think that's the size) ,which was my upgrade from my original diamond. I love the stone which I bought online with all the info I got from PS. My question now is the size of the band. I have a large ring size and not the prettiest of hands, but love my jewelry
Do you think a 1ctw 7 stone ring will work with my setting, or even 1.5tcw. I've attached a photo but I'm a newbie with this!

@Kaadaa, it's hard to say whether it will work without seeing how they sit together. Your ring is beautiful and I'm sure your seven stone will be as well. If they don't seem to compliment each other you could wear the seven stone on your right hand. Make sure to come back and show us your new band!

The band is new also, it is the Whiteflash Danille Jazz band in 14k gold. I love bezeled rings but most seem to be designed for larger center stones. I am enjoying getting to see more of the diamond from the sides.

Sorry my pics aren't great, all I have is my Samsung cell phone camera. This is my 0.70 carat elongated cushion Henri Daussi halo setting. 0.30 in the setting so tcw is 1 carat. 14 k white gold size 7.75. Center stone is a J VS2. Smaller stones are G/H SIs. 8 of them are fluorescent too lol.

I have a 0.55 lab created pear solitaire too, G SI1 and am waiting on a natural 0.54 oval solitaire K SI1 from JA to come. That one has medium fluorescence so I can't wait to shine my blacklight on it!

I love a nice Henri Daussi diamond, and they really lend themselves to halo settings. Lovely ring!
