So pretty! And great proportions.

Wow! That's really shiny! Pretty!

Here on PS...I have seen alot of different beautiful rings...different sizes, shapes, cuts, colors, cuts and settings
And my hunger for eyecandy is always satisfied

. And as much as I love, love, love staring, and drooling over the giant sized sparklies.

There is just a special place in my heart for the more petite sized diamonds. There is just something undeniably classic and sweet about them. I mean who would imagine that such a "small" stone could generate such light.

So if you are just as hungry as I am...
post your pictures and stone specs ( if you have them) of your rings w/ 1ct or under center stone. I know when I was searching I loved to look at stones that were in my perspetive range..this would be a good look book for many people...

My gorgeous little .64 E VS2 AVR set in a DKJ platinum ring. Tiny diamond in the back of the band, tiny diamond in the donut - just beautiful! My intention was to use this diamond (my Christmas gift from my godkids) with a second, matching one, either side of my beautiful yellow AVR. But now I'm thinking....maybe not! I love small rings!

@mrs-b I am not finding this ring at DKJ. Perhaps you could show a shot of the intriguing basket construction with your next round of pictures?

Many thanks!

Hi @AV_ :wavey:

Since it's a Christmas gift, I actually had to GIVE IT BACK! Oh, the horror! However, the basket and shank style are a tiny little version of my old DKJ soli, so I'll attach a photo of that. Try and imagine this cut waaaay down to scale....

Same as it is done with some engagement rings!

I am certainly curious to see how the complicated basket design was done much smaller, I imagine something close to lace...

Morning photo shoot in bed!
@pearaffair It is a VERY lightweight setting. I would not want this for a long-term “everyday” ring. It would be better in platinum, of course, but I wanted rose gold for this iteration. I will wear it until late summer, when I plan to trade up the diamond and find a color-change garnet for our daughter.

This was my inspiration pic... I remember seeing this stack years ago and I thought it was the most beautiful look!

Oh I agree, that is gorgeous!!!

I think I’ve selected a temp setting but I can’t decide on white gold, yellow gold, or rose gold. But I LOVE your rose gold!

A couple of years ago I was looking at 0.50ct asschers on James Allen and this 0.51 ct D VS2 Ashoka cut popped up. I went to pull the trigger but it was gone! Fast forward and it appeared on Loupe troop. Then it disappeared before I could buy it. It came up again but was already sold when I contacted the owner and expressed my interest. Three weeks later she contacted me to say it was mine. The faceting reminds me of waves. IMG_0188.JPG

Oh!!! I love it! I remember when it was on LT! Glad you snapped it up, I was soooo tempted. Cool setting for it, too.

My .72 W-X SI1 asscher in a white gold Ivy & Rose semi-mount with .12 ctw of diamonds. I lived in this thread while I was trying to pick out a setting and couldn't wait to add this one!rps20190126_092137.jpg
