Beautiful! I especially like it with the band
This is lovely. The six prong setting is so delicate, it doesn't overwhelm the stone at all.
thank you bothVery pretty, delicate ring. It looks lovely on you.
I love your new diamond... It looks so beautiful on you!

Hi everyone! I am a dedicated lurker but don’t usually post. But I thought I’d try to add to this post as my engagement ring has a sweet story.
The center diamond was my mother’s (she sadly died before I was married). She had dated my father since her early teens and when they decided to get married, my grandmother, who worked for a jeweler, brought home a bag of loose diamonds from which my mother and father could choose her diamond.
This diamond was the smallest (.56 clt) but it is very clean (vvs1) and they decided it was “perfect like their love”.
When I became engaged my husband added the other diamonds and I wear my mother’s anniversary band as my wedding band.
Obviously it is priceless to me for sentimental reasons but it’s also just lovely. Sparkles like crazy. I get compliments all the time and I’m so happy it’s mine!
My photography needs so help...can’t seem to get it right!

The ascher is a .5 IF, D excellent cut & polish. I bought it as a forever reminder of my once in a life time horse when I put her down after 23 years as part of my life.
I set it along side a small alexandrite in an open ring. Went with the changeable alexandrite as the horse in question was one who had two different personalities. In the barn she was a laid back, fat and happy, lazy dog type. Carrots and apples were her life.
Put her in front of a giant jump and she turned into a fierce, fire breathing dragon who could and would jump anything you put I front of her, at speed, never putting a good wrong.
Very nice. I had a mare like this when I was a teenager. She's long since passed. Even looked similar, bay mare with a small star. The ascher is a .5 IF, D excellent cut & polish. I bought it as a forever reminder of my once in a life time horse when I put her down after 23 years as part of my life.
