There are no words for that stone..

I can''t imagine anyone who would want this.. besides a five year old.
I actually think that''s totally cute for kids - I would have worn those for a lark in college - but definitely not something for grown-ups!

Oh my word!

For just $129 or the BIN price of $133, this baby could be YOURS!

It''s rhodium plated sterling silver...could you ask for anything more?

And to sweeten the pot a bit more, shipping is FREE!

How could anyone pass this up, I ask you?

That ring is so hideous that I had to check out the link. Look at their
ebay store!! It wasn''t the only one!

Oh goodness! How did I miss all that?

That sitting buddha ring really has me creeped out!

Some of those things are just plain crazy!!!

And to think that some of these gems might actually keep their business afloat is beyond me!

8 people have bid for this...

It kinda looks like the amazon jungle growing in that green one!

I found this one while trolling eBay at lunch and just had to share. If you are wondering what my initial thoughts were upon seeing it, look at what I named the file.

This is BAD. The stone is pretty, but what possessed the maker of this ring to put little tiny nubs all over it?! Is this supposed to be one of those pressure-point massage thingees?

The truly sad part about this is that this ring would be kind of nice IF the nubs were replaced with gypsy-set diamonds....or even if the nubs were little gold ''accent dots'' in the metal......

Now... I have often heard ppl say ''I would love any ring he gave me.'' Ohhh reallllyyyy????
Um, no......I would hope that our men have better taste than some of the rings posted here, although.....

My BF and I were in New Orleans week before last. We went out to dinner at this swanky place one night, and at the table next to us was this "woman of a certain age" that had to be from South Beach or somewhere like that. She was obviously very wealthy, with a very dark tan, obviously fake blond hair, a face with no lines at all (the neck, however....), very long acrylic nails, and....

SHE WAS WEARIN'' ONE OF THOSE FUGLY ANIMAL RINGS!!

It was a FLAMINGO RING! I did a little research and found one like it (posted below).

The sad thing is -- I get a catalog (that shall remain nameless because I''m sure that the people running the company are nice people) that features pages of fugly animal rings just like that. And as another poster posted earlier in the thread, those rings are EXPENSIVE. They are not cheapie costume stuff....you''re talking over $1500 in most cases.

What I want to know is: If you have that kind of cash to just idly drop on a ring....why not get a NICE one?
