I like the antique Ruby Kurt Cobain gave Courtney Love when they got engaged. He got an engagement ring too, a gold filagree ring that he later put on his right hand and wore a simple gold wedding band after they married.

At some point she got a diamond that she wore on top of the ruby, I can''t find out when that happened or if Kurt gave it to her.

Interesting. I was just thinking of my great-grandmother's e-ring when I responded to another post. It, too is kinda tall and cone like. My GG's has diamonds all the way up and down. I'll have to get my hands on it to get pics.
