can anyone tell me what type of rings these Katie Holmes rings are?
i think the trinity diamond one is a Cartier Rolling ring, but i have looked through the threads for Cartier Rolling rings and i can''t find this particular type..it''s either the pave setting or the small diamonds that are scattered.
I also don''t know what type of setting the wedding band is?


i''ve made these HQ''s, any comments would be great!!

I think the Diamond wedding-band is a "GRAFF" vertical baguette eternity.

It looks like the 0.75 ct. each size.
 
Katie''s wedding band is from Cartier.. I had it confirmed at Cartier.. Her band is 6 ctw and about $50,000. =)

i noticed that a lot of celebrities don''t wear their bands/engagement rings flush...how do they keep them apart? i love the multi band look!
 
THank you so so much threepwood! I wasn''t sure of the setting , because i thought I could see bits of the platinum in between each stone, but obviously i was seeing things!
i had no idea it was so huge! 6ctw! and 50k! wow! i can''t even imagine how much her engagement ring is? does anyone know? i''m trying to get a good closeup and i will post it :)

I watched his holiday give a way episode and I kept trying to freeze the screen
just to get a clear picture of that gorgeous monster!

Also his daughter inlaw''s ring was the subject of a thread here on PS not too
long ago. 5ct. RB, gosh it was stunning. She was also on the show. Wish we could get
pics of that beauty too!

Seems to me that if you don't solder, it's tough to keep them together. At least that's what I've found.

Part of it is also that a) a lot of these rings are shaped such that flush bands are not a possibility ("donuts" under the head and such), and b) a lot of the rings look a bit loose to me.

I was just thinking the other day -- I think celebs deliberately get rings that are too big. (scratching head) Maybe a looser ring makes their finger appear smaller? Maybe the ring appears heavier and therefore bigger? Maybe they want enough wiggle room to add gazillions of other rings ala Kate Hudson? I don''t know, but some don''t look like they fit as they should.

yeah, i''m thinking it is because they are loose?? i love how it looks though, but i''m sure it''s just easier to pull off with a humongous rock

I love the Lucida on Faith Hill....I think it is a less flashy ring than her others....And she is so classic, it suits her best (I think, once again).
 
Chris Evert's ring Its reported to be a 5 carat princess here in Australia the photo is not clear though . I think its more likely to be a radiant.

And why is she wearing wedding bands? Or is that an old photo?
 
All the newer photos I see of her on the covers of magazines always have her with rings on her left ring finger (and several other fingers as well).
 
I was flipping channels and ended up watching "Heiress" on E! They described Anna Anisimova as Russia''s own Paris Hilton. In the piece they showed a photo of Anna wearing the most gorgeous earrings and I can''t find a close up pic of them anywhere. There''s a bunch of small photos on google but I can''t quite see what the earrings are. I *think* they''re square cut diamonds with a halo. Does anyone know what I''m talking about?
