We'll just say I was a very very busy person while waiting for the PS2 changeover. Well actually before that, but I'm only going to hit on a few more recent projects.

First staring a Barry Bridgestock Achroite cushion, a Bez Ambar setting, size 6.5. This setting has 6 "blaze" cut diamonds, and a TON of melee. It's not set yet, but hopefully I'll get it back in the next few weeks. Woot! Can't wait. Anyway, the center stone is 1.9cts and 7.5mm. More, better pictures when I get it back!

Up next: a silver, handmade, custom setting from Daniel M of etsy fame. Some of you should recognize this stone as formerly belonging to MakingTheGrade, who takes much better pictures of it than I do. Size 6. Half bezel, and two prongs. Stone is a blue tourmaline, 6.2mm.

One more...for now. :naughty:

Daniel M makes me a happy camper yet again...with a ceylon blue sapphire bezel 3/4 eternity band. Once again, handmade. 14kt gold. 21 stones. Size 6. Stones are 1.2ish mm. Ring is skinnier than my wedding band, which is 2mm. I just told them, as vivid and bright blue as possible. http://www.etsy.com/shop/danielmjewelry

Pics!

A few more pics...Sorry my ering is kinda dirty...

If anyone remembers my thread, "Desperately Seeking Spinel" you might remember a blue sapphire bezel eternity band being posted...that was almost 2 years ago! And even though I wanted it for a wedding band, all that matters is that I have it now! Yay!

I should also mention that I originally inquired about a similar band at BGD, whose price was significantly higher than the later quotes I got from WF and then from Daniel M. I really liked the idea of it being handmade though, and supporting the individual instead of a company. So yeah! I haven't taken it off since I got it.

Your rings are sooo pretty! I love the half eternity band.... The stones are so bright.

I have earrings being made by DanielM but I think they are lost in the mail but we can't claim anything for 21 days. :(

:appl: Great projects Freke! Daniel M does such great work and I can't wait to see the cushion in the Bez!

Treenbean, I hope your earrings turn up!

Beautiful!

Thanks guys! I'm really excited about them! I can't wait to get the achroite on my hand!

Treenbean, I so hope they show up! What were they?

These are beautiful rings, Freke! How exciting!

I love the setting that the achroite is in. That's a stone that I've heard of but know nothing about. I'll have to do some reading.

The tourmaline looks lovely in that setting. It's so sleek and really lets the stone be the star!

I think my favorite is your sapphire band. It's gorgeous and sooo complements your engagement ring and wedding band. The blues look so pretty together and I like the contrast between the round bezels of the sapphires and the diamond shape that your spinel sits in.

Thanks BN!

Hey, have you gotten your lavender spinel yet? Any pics around here?

I really love that top setting Freke. It's beautiful.

Thanks TL! I thought it might tickle your fancy. I really really really can't wait to get it back!

Those all look fabulous! I've seen the tourmaline formerly known as MTG's in person, and it's practically radioactive, really tough to photograph, so I know it looks WAY cooler in real life. Daniel M did a great job with it (*mental note to send more projects to him in the future*).

Beautiful stones and rings Freke.

I especially love the blue tourmaline ring from Daniel M. Very cool setting.

I love the tourmaline. And your pictures are great!

Nice projects Freke, The profile pic of the first ring is beautiful.

That first setting is so unique! Where did you get it?

Hi Freke
They were 8mm amethysts with 8 prong white gold setting.... Thanks for asking in the middle of your post, that was nice of you :saint:

Your rings are real beauties.

Liz, your new rings are beautiful. I really like the setting in the first ring but I have to say that I love the sapphire band and it looks gorgeous next to your ER!!!

What great projects!!!

I am glad the first setting went to a PSer! Will be fun to see it set :)

For those who asked, the first setting was from eBay-resold on DB---isn't it lovely!!!

I really love your new band-makes your set look fabulous.

Thanks everyone! I'm hoping to have the first ring in my mitts later this week! I was hoping for today, but no go. Boo!!!

I got it from DB. It is Bez Ambar and much more delicate in real life. I was a bit worried about the pictures in the original listing...

I'm going to keep my fingers crossed that they magically show up. Do you have any pictures?

Wow Freke, that first setting is incredible! The colorless tourm will look great in it - I'm glad you're setting the stone!

Also, love love love the sapphire eternity!!!

Those are really cool. I really love the first setting you put up.

Wow, lovely rings!!

I'm especially in love with the Bez Ambar setting. Of course, the blue tourmaline and sapphire semi eternity are gorgeous as well! I love the delicacy of the semi eternity; those little blues certainly know how to hold their color.

Wow, they're all amazing  , but I especially like the sapphire band, where did you find such lovely sapphires?

JJdav--Dan and Caren actually sourced them for me. I guess they asked a few of their suppliers to send them parcels of tiny blue sapphire melee--the most vibrant blue they had, and they chose the best ones. Can't say I'm upset with the final product! They did a fantastic job, and the stones are all well cut and super sparkly.

Beautiful rings. I can't believe your collection...amazing.

Very nice projects. I particularly like the eternity, as well.

The first ring is very interesting. Would you like to take a few more photos, in different light conditions? I am interested in how the blaze diamonds perform. Thanks!

I will as soon as I get it back. I'll start it's own thread!
