Thank you so much everyone for your wonderful comments!!! Sorry I'm just posting back but I've been out and about town trying to see my cushion in every possible different lighting condition!!! Hahahahaha!!! No, but really I'm super happy with it and my fiance cracks up everytime he catches me looking at my ring and moving my hand to see the sparkles. It is really true what they say about the cut of the diamond being the most important. I saw more than a few cushions in person and was amazed at how much cut affects color perception. This little sucker has so many rainbow colored sparkles I can't believe it. I'm glad I took a chance on the I color. In my case it allowed me to get a larger diamond and still maintain the clarity I needed for it to be mind clean

I was willing to go lower in clarity but this one just happened to come up before I got a chance to see more SI1's or SI2's that were eye clean.

After we purchased the diamond we had a custom setting made (with the surprise pink sapphires on the sides). There's more info on that here: Search for Cushion . We weren't really happy with the level of detail in that setting and have decided to put it in this temporary setting until we have it re-set. This time I think we're gonig to do without the milgrain and just have a prong set halo with eternity band. We still want to work in the surprise sapphires so we'll see how we can do that. In the meantime I'm perfectly happy to have it in a simple solitaire setting so this little baby can shine all by herself As soon as I get some more close up pics I'll be sure to post them because I know how much we all love those pics!

Congrats on your GORGEOUS diamond! I have to say that I just got engaged too and mine is an I color too! I was a bit worried with an I, but mine is super white as well and truly beautiful, you would never know it''s an I color. I had to be mind clean as well, mine happens to be VS1 which was great! The price worked out really well that way!
