WF Ready Set=To-Go BEZEL Studs! They did it!

If I''m reading it right:

.25 tcw are 3.2mm before the bezel, and 4.2mm after.

.50 tcw are 4.1mm before the bezel, and 5.1mm after.

.75 tcw are 4.6mm before the bezel, and 5.6mm after.

Did I do that right? Math and I are not friends, LOL.

I don''t think that will help... those are best guesses not necessarily accurate. I meant for the earrings on their site. I thought I had seen an approximate size to mm thing on one of the other sets. Maybe I was confused!

Meh. I haven''t seen one on the WF site, but I haven''t looked for one either, LOL.

Wow that would make even the .25tcw a pretty good size!

Good lol... I just put in 6.5 and ordered the .75 plat bezels. The .75 plats are the same price as the WG ones Hopefully they do not make the bezel a 6.5 ring size

Or maybe they throw in a free 6.5 ring

Oooooh! I''ve wanted a pair of WF bezel-set diamond studs ever since I saw Asschergirl''s set at the Northern California GTG. OK, so it hasn''t been all that long, but I''ve checked the WF site many times since then to see if there was any way I could swing it. It''s looking more do-able now....

Asschergirl, if you''re around, would you mind sharing how large yours are? I reall that the earrings looked a lot more substantial than I would have expected for the carat weight.

But there is a problem with that page, it blew up when I tried to order (3 times). I was really surpised the plat and white gold were the same price - seems odd? Also she quoted me for the ACAs instead of these ready set go''s - and the price for the platinum bezel was $600 alone

I just got the ready set go''s, seemed like a better deal overall.

Some people get Platinum due to allergy issues, but other than that I can''t see an advantage, personally.

I like the feel of platinum and the metal glow is warmer than gold and not so shinny. I like the diamond to shine and not be overpowered by the metal. If I wanted shinny I would get silver settings from somewhere else Plus if the price is the same, platinum is a no brainer IMO. It is just personal preference really.

And yes, it is great for people with nickel allergies...

As you probably know, if these were prong settings, diamonds are better secured in platinum. Platinum prongs would bend where as a gold prongs will likely completely fail or break. The metal reacts differently to stress. That is why gold rings are often made with platinum heads....
