I'm usually not much of a jade wearer, but I thought my heirloom jade bangle and vintage 14K gold diamond bangle with blue enamel went well together as stacked arm cuffs, and also matched my emerald studs in floral diamond earring jackets.

Thank you for your sweet words, @Bluegemz! You just made my day! I'm usually an "earrings girl", but I think it's time to bring my bracelets and bangles out for a spin! I previously associated jade with dated fashion, but having seen some really luxe and modern jade pieces recently, I'm planning to reset some of my grandmother's jade pieces.

Thank you @renwea! To be honest, I don't really know what's good or bad jade by sight. Whatever knowledge I have about colour, translucency, treatments and enhancements are merely theoretical. The apple green jade bangle was passed down from my grandmother to my mum, and now it's mine because my mum had put on some weight and it no longer fitted her . I also have another heirloom bangle that is whitish green with dark green patches.
