All this jade disk imagery has inspired me to wear my hetian jade disk along with lavender jadeite ring on a casual Sunday. I’d love to get a white hetian jade ring someday to go with it as I have found that there isn’t a look quite like it which really goes, but it’s fun mixing things up too.

I have 2 jade disk pendants...and I adore them both for different reasons but this white one has a clean purity and softness which is very soothing to me. The disks go with everything and the smooth, sculptural shapes make wonderful holding stones too, which is why I especially love them on long chains.

I like the weight and the unity of form and nature's pattern (for coloured/snow flakes/swirls) of them about the neck.

I'm wearing this again with a patterned dress and I think the clean and crisp colours of the pendant go well with the dress too! Versatile indeed.

It does work together even with strong and bold colored clothes. In your picture, the clear form and the size make it so that it cannot be overwhelmed by colors. I think you can pull it off nicely:) especially with that gel glow.

I’m always torn when wearing very light blue green colors. I tend to wear with light clothes to show the color subtlety, or on greys or black . But I have tried multiple variations with stronger colors with sometimes interesting results. I have noticed that the proportions and simplicity of the piece are so important in these pairings so that the piece stands clear visually.

With this disk, I find I only wear it with black because of the green...it’s quite a strong look so it can’t have too much going on. And with green in general, I tend towards black in general ( forgive reposted images..it’s too early to get up yet) . It’s strange how we have color preferences. Some can beautifully wear strong greens with every color...that’s more how I feel about blues and lavenders.

Thanks Elle and Missy! The dragon was a stickpin that Trademark Antiques converted into a ring. I have a thread about it.
Show me your stickpin or stick pin rings I think

Maybe with turtlenecks or prints, this might go with more colours?

But you are right. The softer colours are a lot more versatile.

It's an emerald day today with 3 new bands - an emerald eternity ring, a dainty 9-stone ring with marquise and round brilliant diamonds, and an 11-stone ring with marquise emeralds and round brilliant diamonds.

Playing around with some other bands in different lighting. They are more sparkly and glowy IRL than I can capture.

I know you're not able to capture the full extent of the beauty of those emeralds, but what you already captured still looks like a dream to me!

I'm wearing my 5.4mm green Montana Sapphire from Earth's Treasury in a mount made by David Klass.
It's -16° where I am so the green makes think of summer.

Decked out in purple today. Purple sapphire ring with a pale icy lavender jadeite ruyi and light lavender jadeite calabash earrings. The pendant is one of those that can't be captured well and has to be seen irl to appreciate!

Thank you @voce, for the high praise! I'm loving my emeralds and I'm glad you enjoy them too! And many thanks to all other PS-ers for the love and "likes"!

I freaking love every single one of these bands! The emerald gives that perfect pop of color. Do you mind sharing where you got them?

@TwilightBlue Ooh, what a pretty ring! Can you share some more pictures including a side view? I love that beautiful green with the yellow gold!

Wow, what a gorgeous blue! I also treated myself to a royal blue sapphire to celebrate graduation, but mine doesn't look as good as yours.

It’s beautiful! Congratulations on your graduation! That really is an exceptional blue. Enjoy it in good health!

20190127_142232.jpg Been a while since I wore my unheated Mogok and Monghsu rubies. They feel small after all those jadeite

I love how they glow under the sun.

It's refreshing to see you wearing your old favorites! Drag out the moonstone...
Also, the earrings are pretty...

They are resetting my moonstone dangles since they screwed up the setting. Will take pics when I get them back. Hope they don't scratch the stones though.

Thank you, @elle_71125! I'm most flattered, because you are the queen of CS! The two emerald bands and the marquise-round-brilliant diamond bands are from Ferkos Fine Jewelry on Etsy. I've been eyeing her dainty, minimalist pieces for a while, and finally decided to pick something up, especially after reading a favourable review from @Irishgrrrl (thank you to you too!).

And if anyone is interested to know, I made a typo in my earlier post - the emerald marquise band is the one with 9 stones, and the marquise diamond band has 11 stones. :D Just to clarify, in case anyone is considering a purchase.
