Hi @LIGemzGal thanks for the designer compliment but its not! This bracelet is from a gem and jewelry show about 10 years ago and I love it! It's not a pink rose gold and that is my only complaint. It's super comfortable and sparkly!

Does the bale detach or fold under? I'm thinking the fold under mechanism is more difficult to execute when the setting doesn't have a deep pavilion.

It folds under and secures well, similar to all my other ringdants. I actually tried asking for a green jadeite cabochon for this clasp instead of the usual tiny diamond melee, but it was too bulky and thick for the ring.

The clasp and bail secure under the raised basket frame which to me is just nice and not too high.

What does a detachable mechanism look like? The HK/China benches all seem to go with fold under so am quite curious

The ringdant in my avatar has a detachable bale because the space between the two halos was part of the design, and DW did not want a folded bale sitting right under that space and obscuring it. Also we didn't want the bale design to be restricted by the fact it had to fit under the pointed end of the pear shape, and not stick out the sides. So the idea of a fold under bale was dropped quite early in the design. Here's a LINK to my ringdant thread that shows how the bale is attached.

Been wearing blue sapphires the past 3 days, unheated 5.1 ct cushion indoors under flouroscent light, and unheated 3 ct oval under the sun. The 3 ct has an interesting sleepy/dreamy feel to it due to its silk
