I've reduced my ring wearing so much over the past nine months, because hand sanitizer is damaging to rings. This sapphire band from CVB has gotten more wear than any of my other colored stone rings. I'm enjoying wearing it today. This photo was taken in the shade. I had to reduce the intensity because the phone wants to ramp up the intensity of the blue. This is close to what I see outside.

Here is the story of and a picture of the one piece I have been wearing almost daily.

Growing up, our family had a statue of the laughing Buddha in our living room. My mom used to tell us to rub his stomach for luck and happiness. My father would join in saying he had his own stomach to rub and I would tell friends my dad was like the happy Buddha. The pandemic hit but I became fixated on getting a piece to remember my dad by. So I went to my jewelers, stated what I wanted and was out the door with the pendant - all under 5 minutes. (For perspective, I haven't even been in a grocery store since March )

It's only B Jade (I couldn't afford this size/color in A) but I love rubbing his belly and thinking of my dad.

I haven’t worn these in over a year, but it was a cold overcast wintery day, and I loved how you could see the facet pattern on my Mexican fire opal. It’s a hazy gem, so it’s hard to see sometimes. The other ring is my indicolite. Love the setting gallery.

My usual going out during a pandemic peridot ring, childhod signet ring ive taken to wearing this week and my labradorite pendent on a slightly too long chain - still working on an everyday necklase again
i was very tempted by the casual pearl thread to wear my dyed pearl brackete around my neck or on my head like a headband but it was too hot

Nice! I love the signet ring. Is that a blue stone in it? I don't think I have ever seen a signet ring with a colored stone before. How unique.

Im a Sept baby so a tiny wee saphire
Mum and Dad gave it to me for Christmas when my sister was big enough to get one too (she is 5 years younger) her's is square (because dad wore a square signet ring) - that makes me think we must have gone with mum to try it on ??? i think from memory my sister's one has a tiny ruby although she was born in October

i wore mine a lot in high school and then not at all - but i found it the other day after it got misplaced in the move and ive had it on ever since (well ive taken it off to wash)

Snapped this while looking for greenery to take ring pics away from the restaurant (so that I don’t look like the crazy ring lady). Singapore has been having some lovely cooling weather (that’s 25 C so maybe that’s summer temp in other countries lol) and it’s nice to be out
