Perfection Just love each one of your pieces and oh that white Tahitian pendant has me swooning! I am going to purchase a white freshadama or white metallic strand from PP (or maybe both ) and I just love your clasp on your strand. Any chance you remember the details on it?

I can wear this piece with a large blue topaz inserted between the clasp and the white Tahitian drop, with the white Tahitian drop alone, or I can remove all the enhancers and turn it around and it becomes a classic white pearl necklace. The reason I dug it out this weekend is I was considering whether this necklace would work with the souffle enhancer that I'm getting from PP.
My local jeweler found the clasp in 14k white gold, and I know that she shopped around and found a vendor selling it for much less than the original vendor. It should be commercially available, but I don't know where it was from. She also spent a lot of time looking for just the right cap for the Tahitian. It wasn't easy, but she found a lacy cap in 14k white gold that could be flexed a bit to fit on the Tahitian. Then she fit a small enhancer on the Tahitian and a larger enhancer on the topaz. I wasn't completely happy with how the stringer fit the pearls into the clasp. I thought they should have been snugger than they are, so I expect that I may not have photographed the entire piece for PS.
I like this sort of clasp and I think it will make a great clasp that can be used alone or with various enhancers.

Thank you so much for the info! I will do some online clasp browsing to see what I can find. Please post a photo with that incredible blue topaz enhancer on it!!!
Thank you, everyone.periwinklegirl|1386830409|3572614 said:Fly girl,
Those are just gorgeous!!!
How do you ever drive with that bracelet on your wrist? I wouldn't be able to keep my eyes on the road!
Next time PP has a sale, I want a strand just like this!GemFever said:
Loving these, along with your test drives! I was thinking that this strand was too big and round and boring, but I am totally changing my mind. They are beyond beautiful. Their beauty is definitely enhanced by being worn by a lovely woman who knows how gorgeous she is when wearing these.sortmon|1386868983|3572923 said:Another "test-drive" of grandmother's Tahitians. They look better and better to me everyday! My (male) coworker remarked on how beautiful the black pearls were. He was like, "I never liked white pearls because they're so ordinary, but there's something really interesting and different about the black ones."
(And I totally plan my outfits according to how well they'll go with the Tahitians.)

Here's a look I was sporting last week. Long strand of freshwaters.
This particular coworker has never commented on my jewelry before so I think these pearls really stand out. I really like them, and I'm thinking that I need to get my own strand someday!HHPmom|1386871038|3572967 said:So pretty sortmon. I really like the strand with today's outfit. My male co-workers couldn't tell the diff between pearls and sapphires. They are jewelry blind.
Haha, I thought about it because my grandmother is exactly the type who will hoard stuff and not use it. I do want to give it to her though, as it's only right to thank her for taking care of me all these years. I'll be wearing them for the next week though!LitGeek|1386877669|3573060 said:pkinnew|1386869241|3572930 said:sortmon - How are you ever going to be able to give up that strand? Maybe she'll share???
Will your Gran actually wear them? Maybe you should just let her borrow them for the wedding? My Gran was from the generation that only used the good stuff (china, jewelry, etc.) for special occasions. Those are just too pretty to be left sitting in a box!
