Would this be the famous hairband? Beautiful!

It is indeed!

sorry-that last one was SO grainy. Here's a better one:

What are the stats, other than the 27 inches which is the circumference of your pretty head, if I remember correctly...!

LOL! 27 inches indeed. AAA rosebud keshi metallic pearls in lavender, copper, pinks and whites. Pearls are around 12x8 I believe? These are strung on powerpro with a yellow rolled gold clasp. I love them.

Do you know the mm size of the keshi?

Sorry! I edited my post to include that info. :)

I wore these today to clean our 4 week old chicks' hen house (an otherwise inelegant job). They're multicolor ripple pearls from Sarah at Kojima Pearl.

wow.

baby nurse -- That is a beautiful necklace. I'd love to see a close-up. Thanks for posting the picture.

baby nurse, those are yummy. :lickout:

Simple white button pearl earrings. They go surprisingly well with mt Tahitian strand!

That looks gorgeous, bsomlo! Are those the same pearls that are in your avatar?

Thank you Mrs. taylor, bsomlo, and mynattk for the kind words re my ripple pearls. I'll try to get some close-ups today.

babynurse -- Yes, they are! It's the first time I've worn them this way. Usually, I wear them long with one knot.

Of course, the irony is, WE don't get to see our pearls!

I'm wearing a couple of homemade pieces today. The pendant is a South Sea keshi from Agustus on eBay along with a pink Kasumi that I selected in person when I visited Sarah of Kojima pearls a couple of years ago. The iridescence on the Kasumi is so pretty. I assembled them with hardware from Michaels, although the pearls are worth designer treatment when I can afford it. I just wanted to wear them in the meantime. The strand is of inexpensive pinkish pearls from Pearllunar on eBay that I knotted myself. I don't worry about scratching these pearls on the metal necklace chain. Not shown are pink freshwater studs from Pearl Paradise.

Here are the close-ups of my ripple pearls from Sarah at Kojima Pearl. I got these at the end of January.

yeah, we're actually swooning over them on another board. I'm in love.

Thank you, LitGeek and mrs. taylor!

I don't think I vocally freaked out over these yet. I am so in love with them! I now NEED a 45 incher immediately.

PP metallics. The longer strand is multicolor and shorter strand is pink with some green overtone. Phone camera does them no justice.
