I did my undergrad at a small state school in NH (Plymouth State College then, now Plymouth State University) and my graduate at Harvard.

Texas Tech University -- BA in English Literature
University of North Texas -- MS in Library Science

DH~
Texas A&M University -- BS in Agricultural Economics
SAIS (Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies in DC) -- MS in International Public Policy

I went to a small, private, Catholic college in central MA for undergrad. I doubt anyone's heard of it so I'm not going to bother mentioning the name. :cheeky: I graduated in '96.

I went to a large, public university in my home state (and HH's) for my masters. I graduated in '03.

I went to Mount Holyoke College for undergrad, then did my MA and PhD (in history) at LSU. Two veeeery different institutions, but both experiences were great.

I live very close to Mount Holyoke Clio! Beautiful campus!

Yes, it's so beautiful! My husband grew up in the area, so we get to go back when we visit my inlaws.

Souther CT State University because they gave me a full ride. I got a BS and a BA both with a 4.0 gpa. I got into several "good" schools but couldn't afford them.

Wow, lbbaber! My brother wasn't a super achiever like you, but his story has a similar ring to it. He didn't get into his dream school (heck...it was Brown)-the only one he truly cared about-so he told my parents he didn't want them to spend money on a private college although he got into many others and he went to U.Conn (the University of Connecticut) where he could pay the lower in-state tuition fees. He did end up graduating with honors and Phi Beta Kappa. I can't remember if he was magna cum laude or what his GPA was, but he did well.

Well there's a limited number, lady, do you want me to post a list or are you going to give? I'm sure I could dig up an acquaintance who attended each of them!

Battling Bishops :)
I have a number of friends who attended there on athletic scholaships. It was just far enough away from our hometown, just small enough to provide opportunities for the athletes who were good, but not Div. I eligible and never would be recruited by bigger schools. I love the Delaware area ;)

HI:

I read your note post-facto; but of course your erudite comments made my day! I've always liked smart, nerdy Engineer types--in fact I married one! (he blinded me with science?)

University of Maryland, BS

Still deciding between a few schools for graduate.

I went to a small school in IL for my BA. I went to North Central College which is a small private school in Naperville, IL. I will be shocked if anyone has heard of it or even attended it!

Not sure where I am going to grad school....I have moved to Boston and am probably going to find somewhere out here, I do not see myself moving to IL again anytime soon.

Clemson University for undergrad and grad

BA - Harding University (small private school in Arkansas)
MS - University of Arkansas Medical Sciences
PhD - University of Oklahoma (Boomer Sooner!)
