what do i wear to get married

so clearly i am still waiting and dreaming. i am thinking of what i am going to wear to get married in. we are doing the courthouse thing, but i still want a special outfit! even when i search for simple dresses they are still too "dressy" for my needs. i know that i cannot be the first LIW to go through this... any help will be appreciated.

also, this will be sept of next year so weather appropriate would be great too.

I''m not sure how weather appropriate it is since I don''t know where you live but I assume you want a more basic dress than a big poofy wedding dress.

Do you want white/cream dress to look ''bridal'' or do you think that is contributing to the feeling of ''dressiness'' that you''re trying to avoid?
